RWWOKS Chapter 182

This entry is part 183 of 186 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

“Crane Hermit Style?” Fang Bo’s expression grew serious.

The Crane Hermit Style is a martial arts school from the *Dragon Ball* universe. While its name might not ring a bell for some, its counterpart, the “Turtle Hermit Style,” is legendary.

He hadn’t expected to encounter a *Dragon Ball* reincarnator so soon.

On reflection, though, the early stages of *Dragon Ball* weren’t particularly high in combat power.

At least, prior to Master Roshi’s participation in the martial arts tournaments, it stayed within the realm of ordinary martial artists.

The question was, how much combat power could this disciple of the Crane Hermit Style demonstrate?

**[ID 11367 (Elite Assassin)]**

**[Attack Tendency: High]**

**[Attribute Focus: Strength, Agility]**

**[Traits: Body of Steel, Heart of Glass]**

**[Threat Assessment: Slightly Inferior]**

– **Body of Steel:** Any part of the body can be used as a weapon; unarmed attack power +10%.

– **Heart of Glass:** A heart as pure and clear as glass, free from flaws and distractions, significantly enhancing skill comprehension.

From these traits alone, it was clear this opponent was a close-combat expert.

Not only that, but they were likely a master of various techniques. Skill comprehension, often linked to self-learning, indicated that this so-called Jizo was undoubtedly a skill master.

“What a pity.” Fang Bo smiled faintly as seven golden ripples opened around him.

Had this encounter happened when he first entered the storyline world, this person might have been a significant challenge—perhaps another powerhouse like Lagoo.

But Fang Bo’s gains in the *Naruto* world had been extraordinary. By now, reincarnators with dual attribute caps no longer fazed him.

Regardless of their skills or techniques, the outcome would be the same.

As the golden ripples unfolded, his **Yang Pole Chain** shot forward like a golden serpent.

Such an overt attack, of course, posed no real threat to the nimble Jizo.

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, the man performed masterful evasive maneuvers, skillfully dodging among several Noble Phantasms.

It wasn’t until the **Shadow Moon Fork** appeared that Jizo finally took damage.

Seeing a damage value of over 20 points, Fang Bo realized his opponent lacked defensive skills.

A few rounds of focused attacks would suffice to claim the **Slaughter Chest** from this Crane Hermit disciple.

Having used the **Treasury of Kings** for some time, Fang Bo had learned a few practical rules—for instance, not to throw all his Noble Phantasms out at once when weapons were scarce.

It was better to keep one weapon handy while others were reloading, just in case.

At that moment, Jizo abruptly used the **Flight Technique**, appearing above Fang Bo in the blink of an eye.

“Take this!”

Channeling his mental energy into his fingertips, Jizo formed a radiant circular energy ball and launched it downward.

**Dododonpa!**

The attack was swift and stealthy, executed with the precision of relentless practice. However, Fang Bo had anticipated this move.

As a disciple of the Crane Hermit Style, it would’ve been odd if Jizo didn’t know both the **Flight Technique** and **Dododonpa**.

“Go.”

With a quiet murmur, Fang Bo activated the **Dragon Slash Blade Aura**, sending the crescent moon blade roaring skyward as a golden dragon.

Since Jizo wasn’t a mental-type specialist, the destructive power of such energy-based techniques was limited. The **Azure Dragon Crescent Blade** easily neutralized the **Dododonpa**.

As Fang Bo watched the resulting explosion cloud, Jizo somehow appeared behind him.

When Fang Bo turned quickly, he saw his opponent raise his hands to his forehead.

**Solar Flare!**

A blinding white light flashed, momentarily disrupting everyone’s vision.

**[You are affected by Solar Flare and are blinded for 12 seconds.]**

Jizo’s taut expression finally eased after his ultimate move hit its mark.

In truth, he wasn’t optimistic about this battle.

After all, his opponent’s record of killing Akazuki was astounding. Akazuki was widely regarded as the strongest reincarnator in this war, yet he’d been killed inexplicably by Fang Bo.

If there was even the slightest chance of victory, Jizo was prepared to fight with all his might. However, he wasn’t willing to risk his life for it.

The spoils he’d gathered in this space were sufficient; there was no need to push himself further, especially in a fight where his chances were under 30%.

Initially, Jizo had planned to surrender if the situation turned unfavorable, but luck seemed to favor his strategy.

Without hesitation, Jizo followed his instincts and launched an attack.

His meticulously trained fists slammed into Fang Bo’s abdomen, followed by a relentless barrage of strikes.

Jizo aimed to end the fight as quickly as possible. If the blindness effect wore off, he would immediately surrender.

“He’s a three-attribute cap puppeteer, so constitution shouldn’t be his primary attribute,” Jizo thought, convinced of his strategy.

Fueled by this belief, his attacks became even more ferocious.

What Jizo failed to notice was the sudden movement of a training puppet standing nearby.

By the time he realized, a searing aura had enveloped him.

**Sun Breathing, Fifth Form: Rising Sun Thrust!**

**[The attack from Yoriichi Zero Type dealt 42 + 33 critical damage.]**

The training puppet, Yoriichi Zero Type, armed with twin Nichirin blades, taught Jizo a harsh lesson.

As Jizo staggered, Fang Bo locked onto his position with **Battle Aura Sense** and unleashed the recharged **Yang Pole Chain**, binding him tightly.

The difference in their strength attributes meant the three-second binding wouldn’t instantly kill Jizo.

But it didn’t matter; the damage from Yoriichi Zero Type was enough to put him in a dire situation.

Recognizing this, Jizo decisively shouted, “I surrender!”

Three seconds later, the spatial protection mechanism would trigger. Jizo was confident that his blinded opponent couldn’t harm him in such a short time.

Though the **Treasury of Kings** was powerful, its activation was too slow—by the time its Noble Phantasms appeared, Jizo would have returned safely to the platform.

Jizo’s assessment was correct; Fang Bo couldn’t deploy his treasures in time.

However, Jizo had overlooked the fact that Fang Bo wasn’t a defense-focused reincarnator like Akazuki.

Previous attacks had already reduced Jizo’s health by half.

Fang Bo only needed to deal over 100 points of damage to finish him off.

The **Yin Seal** on Fang Bo’s forehead glowed faintly as mental energy surged into his attack.

Before Jizo could process what was happening, his mind felt like it had been struck by a sledgehammer.

**[Your Mental Impact dealt 35 damage to ID 11367.]**

“What?!” Alarmed, Jizo struggled to break free.

Unfortunately, the **Yang Pole Chain** had a high skill priority and wasn’t something he could easily escape.

Two seconds remained before the protection mechanism activated, but Yoriichi Zero Type was already charging toward him like a blazing sword demon.

**Sun Breathing, Thirteenth Form: Blazing Sun!**

**[The attack from Yoriichi Zero Type dealt 51 + 22 critical damage.]**

As Fang Bo saw the damage numbers, he silently prayed. He wasn’t certain of Jizo’s exact health, and it might be just shy of lethal.

Thankfully, the puppet didn’t disappoint, finishing off the opponent with its most powerful attack.

**[You killed reincarnator ID 11367. Obtained a personal Slaughter Chest.]**

**[You killed an enemy faction reincarnator. Obtained a personal Slaughter Chest.]**

**[You earned 5 battlefield points.]**

**Current protagonist points: 116**

When Fang Bo opened his eyes, the first thing he saw was Jizo’s unwilling gaze.

Picking up the chest from the ground, Fang Bo slowly scanned the arena. Most enemy reincarnators avoided his gaze altogether.

Against such a dominant force, who wouldn’t feel pressured?

Finally, Fang Bo exchanged a glance with the disguised Kazekage on the stage before leaping onto the Sound Village’s platform.

“Biiiig Broooother~~~” Yaoyao ran toward him, but he skillfully dodged her with a quick motion.

Knocking gently on the little girl’s head, Fang Bo gestured with his eyes toward the large screen ahead.

There, Yaoyao’s name was displayed prominently.

“Ah, it’s finally my turn!” Yaoyao looked eager, almost bouncing with excitement.

She pulled out her twin war hammers, slamming them heavily into the ground, as if issuing a warning to her unknown opponent.

A few seconds later, her challenger appeared.

The last remaining reincarnator from the Leaf faction: **Nightingale**.

“Huh? Who’s this?” Yaoyao tilted her head in confusion.

After checking the battle records, she found out Nightingale was a mid-tier reincarnator.

“Don’t underestimate her,” Fang Bo reminded.

“Oh.”

Hearing her brother’s caution, Yaoyao wiped the playful grin off her face, leaping lightly into the arena to take her position.

Seeing the normally carefree girl turn serious, Fang Bo grew curious and threw out a scouting skill toward her.

At this point, she likely wouldn’t blame him—he wasn’t the only one in the crowd using such skills.

**[ID 13308 (Opportunist)]**

**[Attack Tendency: Low]**

**[Attribute Focus: ???]**

**[Traits: ???]**

**[Threat Assessment: ???]**

“Well, great. Aside from the ID, I can’t see anything,” Fang Bo muttered.

The reincarnation space had detection equipment, but naturally, it also had items to block detection. Fang Bo had just never encountered one before.

Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, he wondered how to coax some details out of the little girl later.

As someone who loved throwing out scouting skills, Fang Bo hated having his own stats peeked at.

With a legendary trait like his, most people would immediately become wary upon seeing it, making it harder for him to act in secret.

He shifted his gaze toward the long-haired man standing across the arena and casually sent a scan his way. The results stunned him.

**[ID 10868 (Messenger of God)]**

**[Attack Tendency: Low]**

**[Attribute Focus: Strength, Spirit, Agility]**

**[Traits: Divine Power (Sealed)]**

**[Threat Assessment: Evenly Matched]**

Another expert with triple attribute caps.

“Now that I think about it, there were rumors that the Leaf faction had several powerful fighters.”

He had dismissed those rumors as exaggerations, but here was the second powerhouse he’d encountered.

Yaoyao’s expression also shifted slightly—clearly, she had used a detection skill of her own.

“No way. Am I really this unlucky?!” Yaoyao’s face looked on the verge of tears.

Then, something even more shocking happened.

The man raised his hand and summoned a massive war hammer nearly three meters long.

**Boom!**

The weapon’s impact alone sent tremors through the arena floor.

In comparison, Yaoyao’s twin hammers looked like mere toys.

“Uh… hehe.” Trying to hide her weapons behind her back, Yaoyao slowly raised both hands, as though she were about to surrender outright.

Her timid display earned boos from the spectators, and even Nightingale frowned slightly at her lack of resolve.

Then, something unexpected occurred.

Yaoyao abruptly changed her stance and hurled a strange object toward her opponent with all her might.

Thanks to her high strength attribute, the projectile flew at incredible speed.

Before Nightingale could react, his body was enveloped by a bizarre black spatial distortion.

In an instant, the man holding the colossal hammer vanished from the arena.

**Reverse Veil (Prototype):** Seals a spirit form within a dimensional pocket. Duration depends on the target’s spirit strength, with a maximum of 10 minutes.

After a few seconds of silence, and with no sign of the man reappearing, Genma Shiranui finally declared the match’s winner.

“Yay, I won~!” Yaoyao cheered, clearly overjoyed.
