RWWOKS Chapter 204

This entry is part 205 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

South Africa, NESTS Organization G3 Base.

“Report, the capture operation has failed.”

Bang!

A burst of intense crimson flame shot out, incinerating the messenger who had delivered the report into a charred corpse.

A man who resembled Kyo Kusanagi stood up from his chair, his eyes filled with brutal fury.

“A bunch of poorly-made useless trash.”

He, too, was a clone of the strongest fighter, but unlike those mass-produced failures, this man’s performance was nearly identical to the original.

He could even use Kyo Kusanagi’s signature super special move, a capability that made him superior to many other fighters.

Because of this, the high-ranking members of NESTS gave him a special code name: Kyo Kusanagi No. 1.

As a full clone, No. 1 didn’t have any past memories—his only purpose in life was to serve the NESTS Organization.

His brutal and cold-blooded nature meant that he had no mercy for his fellow clones. If they failed a mission, their fate was to be consumed by his crimson flames.

Beep beep beep!

Suddenly, an urgent alarm rang, causing No. 1 to frown instinctively. He quickly walked over to the central command platform.

“What’s happening?” he asked.

“Captain, it seems there are intruders.”

“Intruders?!”

No. 1 was taken aback, wondering who had the audacity to invade NESTS’s secret base.

Could it be those two traitors?

The technician hesitated, fumbling for words before finally saying, “Captain, perhaps you should see for yourself.”

Confused by the strange behavior, No. 1 ordered his subordinates to display the surveillance video on the large screen.

The footage quickly synced with both the image and sound.

“Help! Help!”

Upon hearing the desperate cries, No. 1’s face immediately turned dark with anger. He wanted to personally deal with this useless team of soldiers.

However, when he finally saw the invader’s figure, his expression shifted to one of bewilderment, as if encountering something beyond his understanding.

In the footage, a swarm of giant spiders was relentlessly charging against the defenses.

No matter how the soldiers fired, the spiders fearlessly charged forward, undeterred by death.

With occasional flashes of golden light, the soldiers were completely outmatched by the invaders.

“Send in the clone army,” No. 1 ordered.

The importance of the G3 Base was undeniable. It was imperative not to lose it. If those test subjects escaped, it could lead to chaos.

More importantly, there were high-ranking officials from the organization at the base—failing to protect them would affect his future prospects.

If the regular soldiers weren’t enough, he would have to send in the Kyo Kusanagi clone army to eliminate the enemies.

However, just as he was about to receive updates from the front line, he heard a familiar set of footsteps behind him.

Turning slowly, he saw a woman with light golden hair tied into a long ponytail, a silver-white sword hanging at her waist. She was walking calmly toward him.

Fokxi, a senior officer of NESTS, a position far beyond that of Kyo No. 1’s.

With just a word from her, he’d likely be remade from scratch.

“What happened?” Fokxi asked, furrowing her brows.

No. 1 had no choice but to briefly explain the situation.

When she heard that the attackers were a swarm of giant spiders, Fokxi said nothing, but the young girl following her suddenly stuck her head out.

“Giant spiders?” She seemed intrigued.

“Uh, yes,” No. 1 took a few steps back instinctively, as if wary of the girl.

It was clear that the girl was not as innocent as she appeared.

With great curiosity, the group turned their attention to the surveillance footage.

Fang Bo walked leisurely across the battlefield littered with corpses.

Behind him, Ghost Spiders were feasting, trying to absorb the rich cellular proteins from the clones.

Nearby, the Spider Queen continued to direct the Ghost Spiders in their battle tactics.

The injured would retreat, while those in peak condition would take the front.

It was the only way to break through the enemy’s defenses with the overwhelming firepower. The soldiers’ firepower was so intense that even Fang Bo would be riddled with holes if he charged forward.

Luckily, he wasn’t fighting alone. The enemy’s firepower had to be spread across multiple fronts.

Compared to the giant spiders, the threat level of Iori Yagami and Gönitz was much higher.

But neither had made a move yet. Fang Bo was waiting for the right moment to attract more of the enemy’s attention.

Another soldier fell victim to the Ghost Spider’s sharp fangs.

“The numbers really are overwhelming,” the Spider Queen murmured, her stomach turning at the sight of so much carnage.

Upon reaching the outskirts of the NESTS base, she had been summoned by the onmyoji.

After devouring the corpse of a sealed test subject, she had birthed seven first-tier Ghost Spiders on the spot.

As the battle progressed, her offspring continued to fight for their lives, and most of the blood and flesh of the fallen soldiers ended up in her stomach.

While giving birth, she continued to charge forward, keeping the Ghost Spider numbers stable at around nine.

[Legendary Trait (Steel Heart) Activated, 21 Health Points Accumulated in the Current World.]

Looking at the steady increase of health, Fang Bo was very satisfied with the progress of this operation.

He believed that in just a short while, the health accumulated from this world would reach its maximum.

He continued walking through the corridor, waiting for the right moment to release all of his attack treasures.

With overwhelming output, he quickly wiped out a group of soldiers.

Once the Spider Queen consumed their blood and flesh, the number of Ghost Spiders increased to twelve.

At that moment, five clones of Kyo Kusanagi appeared.

“Finally coming out, huh?” Fang Bo said as he took out two puppets and activated the strongest move of the Wind Shadow Puppet—Magnet Release: Sand Iron Domain!

In the enclosed space with walls on all sides, the Sand Iron technique left no escape. The clone Kyo Kusanagis had no choice but to endure the damage.

Before they could break free, a second wave of Sand Iron surged, sweeping over them.

In the end, only three clones managed to escape the Sand Iron storm.

Unfortunately for them, freedom was not what awaited them, but rather a golden gleam from the sacred sword Kusanagi.

With the “Free Control” special effect activated, the sword extended several meters and impaled the three clones together, like skewered pieces of fruit.

One clone died, two were heavily injured. The Yen Ichi-0 sword soon followed, beheading two more clones.

Health: 370/370 (+180)

With the clones defeated, Fang Bo’s health was finally at its peak.

At his current health, it was equivalent to a reincarnator with 37 points in Constitution, though resistances from the Constitution attribute were not factored in.

Compared to other reincarnators, Fang Bo’s body was slightly more bloated, but he wasn’t satisfied.

After all, Fang Bo often faced enemies much stronger than his current level, making his health look average at best.

“Ah…” he sighed, reflecting on his lack of strength, as two major figures began their own movements.

Gönitz was still lagging behind, as her strength hadn’t fully recovered, but Iori Yagami was a different story.

The very thought of Kyo Kusanagi set his blood on fire.

One thing was clear: anyone who stood in his way would die.

Faced with the rampaging Iori, the NESTS officers were clearly cautious.

“You go,” Fokxi said to No. 1, giving the order to confront the enemy. “The spider-man is yours, and let her deal with Iori.”

She then pulled the reluctant long-haired girl toward the front.

No. 1 hesitated for a moment but eventually left the command room, following the orders without question.

“You all, follow me,” he said, selecting a few subordinates to accompany him to deal with the enemies.

Soon after, the long-haired girl skipped away, her attitude seemingly carefree.

Despite facing the formidable Iori Yagami, she didn’t seem nervous at all.

With ice-blue hair cascading to her waist, the girl’s movements caused her hair to sway. Within moments, this lively, dark purple-clad girl was standing before Iori.

To counter K’, NESTS had used the Kusanagi family’s fire DNA to create an experiment. By extreme coincidence, they had created a modified human who could use ice abilities—this was the energetic girl, Kula.

Unlike K’, who could only use flames with one hand, Kula could unleash ice powers from her entire body.

To suppress her overwhelming abilities, she was forced to wear special gloves, otherwise, her ice powers might spiral out of control.

Her existence was specifically designed to counter fire-based fighters.

K’, Kyo Kusanagi, and Iori Yagami were no exception.

At first, Iori hadn’t paid much attention to Kula.

But when his super move “Dark Slash” failed to break through her icy defense, he finally realized the magnitude of the threat.

Trying to regain his composure, Iori quickly changed tactics, dashing to Kula’s side with a Ghost Step, attempting to force her off balance with a gust of wind.

However, the moment his palm made contact with her body, Iori was shocked to feel his arm freeze solid.

For someone who wielded the power of blue flames, this was beyond belief.

“Don’t touch me!” Kula shouted, spreading her arms. Violent frost immediately turned everything around them to ice.

MAX Super Special Move: Ice Bound Realm!

This indiscriminate freezing attack rendered all fire abilities useless. Even Iori Yagami was forced to retreat helplessly.

After all, he was no longer at his peak strength.

Bang!

Iori’s frosted body slammed to the ground, signaling the end of the fight.

“Ugh, I think I went a bit too hard,” Kula muttered, scratching her head. She suspected that Fokxi would want to capture him alive.

Just like that test subject they had captured, feeding on their cells to create clones.

After a quick tongue poke, Kula paid no attention to the fallen invader. Her orders weren’t to kill him anyway.

Compared to fighting him, she was far more interested in the giant spiders. Maybe she could catch a few as pets.

Not long after she left, a group of soldiers arrived in the corridor, tasked with taking the defeated Iori Yagami back to the lab.

“Tch, with this little skill, he dared to cause trouble. What gall,” one of the soldiers muttered, kicking him.

“Stop messing around. Get him to the lab quickly.”

“Got it.”

It took the soldiers quite a bit of effort to lift Iori’s frozen form. Even the high-tech protective suits couldn’t prevent the frostbite.

“Move it,” one of the soldiers urged, oblivious to the sharp gleam in Iori’s eyes as they dragged him away.
