- The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline
- RWWOKS Chapter 234
Geonitz’s Storm Cutter move completely disrupted the enemy’s formation.
Amidst the wreckage, flames shooting into the sky, the gunslinger, Grant, staggered to his feet, his face covered in soot and burns.
His luck had been terrible, as he just happened to be in the path of the storm’s deadly blades.
While the others were only affected by the shockwaves, he, unfortunately, took the full brunt of two attacks.
Fortunately, when entering the plot world, Grant had specifically chosen two pieces of high-constitution gear, or he would have already been killed in that explosion.
Activating the vitality regeneration provided by his necklace, Grant reassembled his sniper rifle into two silver guns.
This gear came from the “Gun God” world, and could switch between different forms at will.
It was crafted from special blood and flesh, and the damage dealt would directly correlate with the Reincarnator’s attributes.
As a skilled marksman, Grant had made it this far because of his own talents, and this silver plot gear was his greatest aid in navigating through space.
“When I return to the Gun God world, I’m going to take down that smug bastard. Once I do, the attributes of this gear will undergo a significant boost,” Grant thought to himself.
Silver gear typically came from plot characters, and the abilities they provided were closely tied to the plot. Completing certain specific tasks would upgrade the effects of those abilities.
Once his health slowly returned to a safe level, Grant kicked aside the blocking panel in front of him, preparing to check on the others.
Just then, a flash of golden light suddenly appeared before him.
Grant’s heart tightened, instinctively dodging the incoming attack.
It wasn’t until the light crashed to the ground that he realized it was a golden hammer.
“Coming for me directly?” Grant’s face twisted into a snarl, tightening his grip on the silver guns.
The team had shared detailed information about Number 7, so he knew exactly where this weapon came from and even the skills related to the King’s Treasure.
“The treasure has a range limit. It can’t be more than 200 meters from me.”
The enemy’s failure to reveal themselves so far indicated they were wary of potential ambushes. Grant thought that maybe he could use this hesitation to his advantage.
Perhaps he could act more aggressively, creating the illusion that his teammates were laying in wait.
With this in mind, Grant’s eyes suddenly lost all focus, and the entire world around him seemed to slow down.
Super Focused Mind: A skill that greatly enhances concentration for a short period of time.
This was his innate ability, similar to “bullet time.” By discerning minute details, he could easily detect hidden enemies within his sensory range.
“Hmm?” A shift in his focus, and Grant immediately moved away from his original position.
The next second, a golden Shadow Moon Trident appeared out of nowhere, plunging deep into the earth beneath him.
Had he been even a moment slower, that spear would have impaled him to the ground.
“Still hiding in the shadows, huh?” Grant continued scanning his surroundings.
The enemy’s combat style was not quite what the intelligence had indicated, likely due to a lack of sufficient mental power.
Listening to the distant cannon fire, Grant suddenly chuckled to himself. “Still not making a move? Your friend’s about to run out of time.”
The traitor Olsen was leading a group of Ghost Spiders in a battle against their side. The situation was critical, and they could lose at any moment.
In this kind of situation, the enemy’s mindset was bound to be affected.
As expected, Grant soon noticed something off in the distance.
At the ten o’clock direction, dust suddenly kicked up in vertical streaks, a sign of erratic breathing caused by heightened emotions.
Such a small flaw couldn’t escape Grant’s keen observation.
“I’ve found you!”
Merging his two silver guns together, Grant was ready with a heavy sniper rifle, and aimed precisely at the source of the disturbance before firing a bullet.
As the target was blown away, Grant’s smile began to spread across his face. But he quickly realized something was wrong.
Why wasn’t the enemy bleeding?
Instinctively checking the battle report, a chill ran down his spine.
[Your shot caused 89 points of piercing damage to Yoriichi Type 0.]
He had no idea who or what Yoriichi Type 0 was, but he knew this name was not that of an enemy Reincarnator.
Under normal circumstances, the battle report would have stated “enemy” when attacking a Reincarnator.
“I’ve been tricked.”
Realizing this, Grant immediately planned to leave the area.
However, as he fired, Fang Bo’s true form appeared right in front of him.
[ID 9366 (Flesh Gunslinger)]
[Attack Inclination: High]
[Attribute Inclination: Perception, Agility, Constitution]
[Traits: Super Focused Mind]
[Threat Level: Slightly Weaker]
“Not bad,” Fang Bo said, quickly forming hand seals with both hands.
Just as the enemy had predicted, after clashing with the Seraph in a big move, Fang Bo’s mental power had reached a dangerously low level.
He had to either consume supplies or conserve his energy. He had obviously chosen the latter.
Slowly searching for an opportunity to strike, Fang Bo aimed to eliminate the gunslinger with minimal cost, which led to Yoriichi Type 0 acting as bait.
He had initially intended to gradually reveal his presence, but the smallest action—simulating his breathing—had immediately given him away.
One had to admit, the enemy’s perception ability was truly extraordinary.
Sensing the murderous intent rapidly approaching from behind, Grant’s expression turned grave. His C-tier skill, Instant Step, was already prepared to activate.
As a competent ADC, it was essential for him to master movement skills; otherwise, if the enemy closed in, he’d be in serious trouble.
With a light tap of his foot, Grant prepared to disengage from the threat behind him, only to see a wave of thick, creeping darkness.
[You used the Dark Walk Technique on ID 9366. Perception attribute check, with characteristic ability check.]
[Check passed. ID 9366 is blinded for 6 seconds.]
“It worked,” Fang Bo immediately activated all his offensive abilities.
He knew that even with blindness, the enemy wouldn’t simply stay in place and wait for death—they would start running.
If he couldn’t stop them now, this kill would likely slip through his fingers.
The Wind Shadow Puppet appeared first, and the Dragon Knight’s bullets flew straight for the enemy’s face.
Unfortunately, in the face of a gunslinger who had activated Super Focused Mind, the attack seemed weak and futile.
Yoriichi Type 0 arrived second, immediately releasing its fastest assault strike.
Sun Breath Style V, “Radiant Sun Slash!”
[Yoriichi Type 0’s strike hits, dealing 56+61 slashing damage.]
The attack was so sudden, and the puppet had no life aura. Its movements were always silent, making it difficult to perceive.
Even with his senses heightened to the maximum, Grant still couldn’t avoid the Solar Cycle Blade‘s strike.
His health dropped to one-third, but he was just barely able to activate Instant Step from the Grim Reaper world.
In the blink of an eye, Grant was already dozens of meters in the air.
The cautious gunslinger quickly activated his movement skill again, determined to preserve his life.
Having teleported a hundred meters away, he finally exhaled a sigh of relief, confident that he was now completely safe.
The enemy might still pursue him, but by then, his vision would be restored, and everything would be different.
Just then, a sudden feeling of heart-pounding dread swept over him.
“Not good.” Grant jumped upwards with all his strength, barely avoiding an attack coming from behind.
He hadn’t expected the enemy’s assault to be so fast—almost as soon as he touched down, the attack was already near.
Thankfully, his vigilance was high; otherwise, with only 112 health left, he wouldn’t dare gamble on his survival.
If a critical hit had triggered, he would have been finished for sure.
Dodging the attack, Grant immediately activated his perception abilities to try and sense the enemy’s next move.
However, too focused on the next attack, he failed to notice that the empty treasure tool had unexpectedly turned mid-air, aiming directly for him a second time.
Before Grant could react, the golden Kusanagi Sword had already extended its blade and pierced through his heart.
[Your treasure caused 174 points of critical damage to the enemy.]
[You have killed Reincarnator #9366 and gained a personal exclusive kill box.]
In his final moments, Grant was left wondering why his weapon had suddenly changed direction mid-flight, and why it had extended its range.
If possible, he would have liked to die with some answers, but that small wish was never to be granted.
Mind Control (Active Skill): Consumes 1 point of mental energy to freely control the flight and length of the Kusanagi Sword.
This was one of the equipment effects of the Kusanagi Sword, a seemingly insignificant ability that, at times, could prove decisive.
This battle was one such example.
Bending down to pick up the box Grant dropped, Fang Bo sat down on the ground, gritting his teeth as waves of searing pain assaulted his mind.
Mental Energy: 7/36
He was left with only 7 points of mental energy, which meant he was essentially unable to continue fighting.
Sigh… “There’s never enough mental energy, no matter how much you have.”
Taking cover in a corner, he pressed against his temples while opening the gunslinger’s kill box.
[You are opening the kill box of #9366.]
[You have gained 3250 plot points.]
[You have received Sniper Bullets x35.]
[You have received Punisher (Silver Plot Gear).]
Fang Bo’s eyes widened as he looked at the rewards.
“Well, well, you’re being very generous, aren’t you?!”
The over 3,000 plot points were a small consolation for the loss he incurred from using the Great Serpent’s Blood.
Plot Points: 15,069
Fifteen thousand plot points wasn’t too shabby. If he could kill a few more Reincarnators from the Orphanage, things would look even better.
What truly excited Fang Bo, however, was the massive sniper rifle.
Its damage output was even more absurd than the mythical Kusanagi Sword.

The base damage was already impressively high, but the fact that it could guarantee a critical hit made it even more frightening.
No wonder one shot almost crippled Yoriichi Type 0.
Fang Bo had no idea how much effort the enemy had put in to upgrade this silver plot gear to a level on par with mythical weapons.
He sighed, “Another item I can’t use… and I can’t even place it in the King’s Treasure.”
“Well, I’ll just keep it for now. Maybe one day I’ll have a puppet specialized in long-range shooting.”
When that time comes, he could equip the puppet with this sniper rifle and instantly have a ranged sniper with insane damage.
Sigh… “Once we get back, I really need to figure out a way to convince that little girl with the bead control technique to join me.” He missed that noisy little girl.
Just then, a loud rumbling sound echoed in the distance. Seven transport planes, marked with mercenary insignia, slowly descended.
The members of Rage Team had finally arrived on the battlefield.
This meant that the battle was about to end. With such a huge difference in forces, the Orphanage Reincarnators had no chance of victory.
Moreover, Geonitz had already torn apart the Seraphim, Little Zhai, into pieces.
“The battle is lost.”
