RWWOKS Chapter 237

This entry is part 238 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

“Mai!”

Upon seeing the woman before her, Chizuru Kagura instinctively shouted her name.

However, she quickly realized that the person standing before her was no longer the teammate she once knew.

Feeling the strange whirlwind stirring inside the room, Chizuru Kagura could no longer deny the other’s identity.

“Goenitz!!!” She roared, launching herself at her enemy.

Her initial plan was to deal with the Nests Organization first, then seek revenge later, but she never expected this person to show up before her.

If she didn’t kill her today, all the tears she had shed over the years would have been in vain.

Incredible Speed!
A blur of motion shot forward, too fast for the eye to track. Chizuru Kagura’s fingertip sliced through the air, creating a sharp buzzing sound.

Even Goenitz, with all her strength, had to be cautious in the face of Kagura’s speed.

“The little girl’s power has grown stronger.” The storm woman reacted quickly, or perhaps, she had already anticipated how to fight against her.

A powerful gust of wind swept from below, blowing the opponent away just before she could make contact.

Then, Goenitz surged forward, her claws striking. In the blink of an eye, dozens of exchanges were made.

Each blow from both women carried the force of a thousand tons, sending shockwaves that rattled the surrounding stones.

Their gazes were filled with fierce battle intent, but their moves were careful and deliberate. Both knew that if they left an opening, the other could strike and end the fight in an instant.

“Your speed has slowed.” After exchanging blows for a while, it was Kagura, the human, who first showed signs of fatigue.

With one hand, Goenitz gripped her throat, grinning cruelly as she unleashed the full force of the wind.

Ultimate Move: Dark Wail!

It was a devastating technique that compressed the power of the wind, swirling around her body in mini-tornadoes. Each gust was sharp as a blade.

Anyone struck by this attack would suffer as though enduring a cruel execution.

When Goenitz finally released her grip, Kagura’s ceremonial robes were completely soaked in blood.

Her exposed skin was almost unrecognizable, with not a single piece of flesh left untouched.

Seeing the woman on the brink of death, Goenitz did not strike another blow. Instead, she dragged her limp form toward the underground training room of the Kagura household.

Once there, she tossed the broken woman to the ground and activated the wind power, bathing herself in its rejuvenating effects.

With her newly gained abilities, Goenitz could quickly recover her health.

There were still more battles ahead of her.

Elsewhere, a man disguised with a new appearance walked over.

He first glanced at the battered Chizuru Kagura, then extended his sinful hands toward her body.

In a moment, the descendant of the Three Sacred Artifacts suddenly opened her eyes wide.

Before she could even rise, Goenitz appeared before her.

With a single swipe of her claws, she sent the woman into the air, before launching another of her signature ultimate techniques.

Ultimate Move: True Eight Maidens!

Poor Chizuru Kagura hadn’t even recovered from the earlier blow when she was hit by a barrage of even more powerful attacks.

When her body was forced to the ground, her eyes filled with despair.

She knew this was the end.

No matter what had happened before, there was no one here to save her now.

But Goenitz let her live again.

Without even glancing at the woman on the floor, Goenitz smiled mysteriously and went to sit on a chair at the edge of the training ground.

She was waiting, waiting for the useless man to heal the enemy’s wounds.

The scene from their recent battle reminded her of the fight in ’96.

Goenitz had to admit, that time she had been too overconfident and underestimated the power of the Three Sacred Artifacts.

This time, she had come here to test the waters and see how much her old enemies had improved over the years.

As she had said earlier, Chizuru Kagura’s strength had indeed increased, but unfortunately, with the legendary bloodline that Goenitz herself possessed, her power had advanced even further.

Thinking about this, Goenitz glanced at the man in black who was crouched on the ground, his sharp gaze softening a little.

She knew he had plans of his own, probably using her for something.

But none of that mattered. She had come to test the level of the Three Sacred Artifacts. Both sides were simply getting what they wanted.

“Come on, there’s only one more time left.”
“Understood.”

Leaving behind the skeletal remains of the three-headed giant, Fang Bo poured all the accumulated life essence into her body.

Feeling his own body weaken, he quickly retreated to a distance.

Without Goenitz’s help, how could he have possibly leveled up his Spatial Sense so quickly?

Without the foundation of powerful skills, how could he have learned the Flying Thunder God Technique in such a short amount of time?

He now worried about the orphanage, where other Seraphim might still be held.

Even if they were incomplete lower-grade models, they could still pose a huge threat to the strong individuals in this world.

“Large organizations that have access to advanced technology are truly terrifying,” he thought.

He took one last look at the two women in the midst of battle, then hurried out, planning to find a scapegoat to absorb life essence from.

Meanwhile, Chizuru Kagura finally recognized the masked man’s identity.

“Bastard, what exactly do you want from me?!” she demanded.

They wouldn’t kill her, but they wouldn’t let her go either. Were they here just to torture and take revenge?

Fueled by rage, Kagura activated her ultimate move: Three Sounds Formation.

A phantom figure rushed toward the enemy at nearly the same speed as her real self.

What was most surprising was its immense resistance to damage.

For a moment, Goenitz was put on the defensive.

“I can’t attack recklessly. Any strike will provoke the woman’s retaliation.”

The ability to perfectly read the flow of battle—this was Goenitz’s innate talent.

She knew Kagura hated her with a passion and understood this attack wouldn’t last.

In fact, she didn’t need to do anything. The illusion would soon dissipate on its own.

However, as an upper-tier fighter, Goenitz couldn’t allow herself to falter in the face of such an opponent.

A gust of wind swept through, striking one of the phantoms and sending it flying.

Then, she launched her counterattack, a storm of blows raining down.

The battlefield was a whirlwind of speed as the three figures danced around each other. Kagura was once again injured, but she had also managed to land a blow on her enemy.

Even with her incredible strength, Goenitz, after fighting three consecutive battles, was starting to show signs of exhaustion.

Sensing her enemy’s weakness, Chizuru Kagura immediately went on the offensive, but in that crucial moment, the illusion created by the artifact suddenly vanished.

Even with her iron will, she couldn’t help but feel a flicker of emotion.

Watching the opportunity for victory slip through her fingers, it was impossible for anyone to remain indifferent in such a situation.

Goenitz, adept at reading the flow of battle, would never let such a perfect opening go to waste.

In an instant, she leapt behind Chizuru Kagura, and a stunning aura erupted from her body.

MAX Ultimate Move: True Eight Maidens – Reality Overcomes!

Like a wild beast, Goenitz lunged at Chizuru Kagura, her claws cutting through the air with a violent force.

Not even mountains, stones, or iron would be spared; everything would be pulverized in the face of her Eight Maidens.

By the time Fang Bo replenished his energy and returned, he found Chizuru Kagura lying unconscious again.

This time, her injuries were far more severe. It almost seemed like he could see her insides moving.

If Goenitz hadn’t held back, Chizuru Kagura would have been heading to join her sister by now.

“Good work.” Fang Bo patted Goenitz on the shoulder, pulling out a pre-prepared iron chain from his pocket.

Goenitz’s stamina had been severely drained; she couldn’t continue any longer. Otherwise, the two of them might end up turning the tables in a bad way.

“You go ahead. I’ll catch up in a bit.”

Once she was securely bound, Fang Bo began to cast a healing spell.

[Basic Spatial Sense XP +645]

There was no time to absorb the knowledge flooding his mind; he quickly turned and left the underground training ground of the Kagura house.

As for what the woman would think of him, Fang Bo didn’t care anymore.

Right now, mastering the Flying Thunder God Technique was far more important than anything else.

In the Dreamscape, the Fourth Hokage’s ethereal figure slowly materialized.

Fang Bo transmitted the knowledge he had gained, then controlled Minato Namikaze to repeatedly perform the Flying Thunder God Technique.

At first, it took dozens of tries to succeed even once, but now he could complete a space-time transfer almost every fifteen or sixteen attempts.

This was already a significant improvement.

With each successful attempt, Fang Bo’s understanding of the Flying Thunder God Technique deepened just a little.

Though the progress was minimal, it was the only way he could think of to advance.

Not far away, Mai Shiranui and Chizuru Kagura were performing an erotic dance, so provocative that words could hardly describe it.

After such a hard-fought battle, taking a moment to enjoy life was a welcome reprieve.

Soon, the girls from the King of Fighters world appeared, their bodies swaying enticingly, causing his heart to race.

Meanwhile, Minato Namikaze was still tirelessly practicing his techniques in the corner, looking utterly miserable.

Before long, only three days remained until the King of Fighters tournament began.

The Fatal Fury Team had successfully registered, and Orochi had already integrated into the team.

But everyone knew that, with the Fatal Fury Team’s current abilities, making it to the finals would be a long shot. Orochi’s goal was simply to win at least one match.

“As a participant, each victory in the arena grants 500 plot points,” Orochi had informed him.

“Moreover, if you assist in an attack and defeat an opponent when entering the stage, you’ll receive an additional 200 plot points as a reward.”

This intrigued Fang Bo, who was quite interested in the system.

If he could pull off a streak of three victories, he’d earn a whopping 1500 plot points in one go.

With that many plot points at stake, he couldn’t afford to miss out—especially since he was about to begin his research on the Human Puppet Technique.

No matter the amount, as long as it was plot points, he had to gather them all.

At the registration desk for the King of Fighters tournament, Fang Bo submitted the list of participants for his team.

Ruthless Team: Composed of Fang Bo, Kyo Kusanagi, Iori Yagami, and Goenitz.

Once this information spread, it was bound to cause quite a stir.

[Special Tip: Each victory will grant you rewards.]

The 500 plot points were a decent reward, but what pleased him even more was that the reward had gone into Spatial Sense.

With that, his Basic Spatial Sense had leveled up to LV8, which was already an excellent skill level.

“Flying Thunder God is so close now. This upgrade couldn’t have come at a better time.”

Normally, a level 8 Spatial Sense wouldn’t be enough to learn the Flying Thunder God Technique.

But Fang Bo had to admit that the Nightmare Space was truly impressive, significantly lowering the difficulty of learning skills.

As he marveled at the power of his Nightmare ability, he shifted his attention back to the team registration list.

To his surprise, there were a total of sixteen teams registered for the tournament.

That was twice as many as in the original storyline.
