RWWOKS Chapter 242

This entry is part 243 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

“Robert! Robert! Robert!!!”

The arena was filled with synchronized cheers.

As an old powerhouse, the Dragon Fist Team had always been incredibly popular, especially among the male spectators.

Robert Garcia, born into a prestigious family with vast wealth, had no interest in inheriting the family business. Instead, he was determined to become a fighter.

After much hard work, he finally succeeded in training under the Extreme Flow and became known as one of the strongest fighters, on par with Sakazaki Ryo — the Strongest Tiger.

[Robert Garcia (Strongest Tiger)]

[Attack Preference: Low]

[Attribute Preferences: Agility, Strength, Perception]

[Trait: Beyond Limits]

[Threat Level: Highly Dangerous]

Beyond Limits: You have mastered the essence of Extreme Flow; your leg techniques’ damage +20%.

“Just as expected from the Dragon Fist Team—any one of them is an elite fighter,” Fang Bo quietly remarked.

Such a thrilling match was one he couldn’t afford to miss. Who knows, he might even pick up some techniques suitable for his own training.

Not to mention, the Dragon Fist Team‘s goal in the fight was to take down those reincarnators.

Under the constraints of suppressed attributes and unavailable items, the reincarnators from the orphanage didn’t pose much of a threat.

Even that Chosen One, Fang Bo wouldn’t be intimidated by them.

What did it matter if they could swap bodies? The Chosen Ones liked to play dead, and Fang Bo enjoyed letting people die more than once.

As long as they dared to cross his path, Fang Bo would show them why he had the courage to challenge the entire orphanage.

Among the enemy team, aside from the plot-heavy powerhouses, the real threat came from the few Seraph members.

From what little information was known, it seemed the enemy team had at least two Seraphs, possibly all three of Jason‘s team.

“Soon we’ll have the answer,” Fang Bo thought, as the crowd’s ecstatic cheers filled the air. Robert stepped into the center of the arena and saw one of Jason’s team members.

“A Yōko?”

“That’s a strange name.”

Robert tossed a coin high into the air and declared, “Before this coin stops spinning, I’ll defeat you.”

Before the coin could even fall, Robert launched an attack on the red-haired boy in front of him.

He raised his leg, seemingly to kick, but unexpectedly fired a straight punch instead.

Finishing Move: Dragon Fist!

The energy wave hit squarely in the chest. The red-haired boy was forced to stumble back several steps.

“This isn’t over.” Robert wasn’t one to let up. He followed up with a rapid Flying Swallow Kick, unleashing a furious flurry of kicks.

Each kick was lightning-fast, creating afterimages in front of the boy.

The Yōko had no choice but to retreat step by step, soon reaching the edge of the ring.

Facing such a young opponent, Robert didn’t want to use his deadliest techniques. His real intent was to knock the boy out of the ring.

“It’s over. This place isn’t where you belong,” he said, preparing to deliver a powerful kick to send the boy flying.

Just then, a blood-red shadow passed before him.

In the next moment, several deep gashes appeared on his body, followed by a stream of foul-smelling black blood.

Robert had been injured—and poisoned by some unknown toxin.

As he collapsed to the ground, the audience was stunned to realize that the boy’s hair was tied to a thorny whip.

Using a quick hair flip, the boy had unexpectedly struck a heavy blow, and combined with a secret poison, Robert‘s situation was no longer about winning or losing—it was about how to stay alive.

“You’ve lost,” the Yōko boy said, his voice emotionless.

He had baited his opponent into a psychological trap, leading him to fall into an abyss. This was a victory in a battle of wits.

[S- Yōko (Test Version Seraph)]

[Attack Preference: Low]

[Attribute Preferences: Agility, Perception, Spirit]

[Trait: Iron Body, Green Blood (Legendary)]

[Threat Level: Extremely Lethal]

Looking at the Seraph’s attributes, Fang Bo felt he hadn’t found anything particularly useful.

That damned Green Blood didn’t reveal any specific information.

In the Pirate World, when scientists studied Devil Fruits, they found that only Zoan-type fruits could be artificially created.

Later, they discovered the Bloodline Factor technique, which allowed them to transfer Devil Fruit abilities using special blood.

This blood was called Green Blood, and the technique was mainly applied to new Seraph-type pacifists.

If the orphanage had mastered the production of Green Blood, it meant they could make many plot-based powerhouses.

Slashing Man Zai was one such result.

To be honest, Himura Kenshin’s strength wasn’t all that impressive, and Hiten Mitsurugi-ryū wasn’t an invincible style.

Even so, his presence once gave Goenitz quite a bit of trouble. What if Green Blood was applied to a stronger subject?

The answer seemed clear now.

Even against a top-tier fighter, S- Yōko could defeat them without breaking a sweat.

The process was so effortless, it felt like bullying a rookie reincarnator who had never been through multiple worlds.

Watching Robert struggle on the ground, the Yōko boy calmly waited for the referee to announce the victory.

The King of Fighters tournament didn’t allow deaths, or participants would be disqualified. Otherwise, he would have killed this man long ago.

Retracting his thorny hair whip, he turned his attention to the next opponent—The Strongest Dragon, Sakazaki Ryo.

Just then, the boy noticed the sneering look in Sakazaki Ryo’s eyes.

“You don’t seriously think you’ve beaten Robert, do you?”

Upon hearing this, the Yōko boy thought Sakazaki Ryo was about to launch a counterattack. But instead, the danger came from below.

With blood gushing from his mouth, Robert let out a furious roar and unleashed his finishing blow.

**MAX Finishing Move: Emperor’s Rising Roar Fist!

The terrifying shockwave instantly overwhelmed the boy, sending him flying like a kite caught in the wind.

As blood sprayed everywhere, Robert thought he saw parts flying around.

“Am I hallucinating?” His body wobbled slightly before he collapsed onto the ground.

On the other side, due to not seeing through the enemy’s intentions, the Seraph was struck with an unprecedented blow.

The power of the Emperor’s Rising Roar Fist was no joke—even top-tier fighters like Kyo Kusanagi and Iori Yagami had to treat it with caution.

The lack of accurate judgment was the direct cause of the Yōko boy’s defeat.

Indeed, the Seraph, having taken the full force of the Emperor’s Rising Roar Fist, had been knocked out of the ring.

Dragon Fist Team Takes the Lead, But Robert Declares He’s Unable to Continue

The Dragon Fist Team claimed the first victory, though Robert quickly declared himself unable to continue the fight.

In other words, it was a draw.

“Useless piece of trash.” Jason lifted the young boy with one hand, as though he were inspecting a broken appliance that couldn’t be repaired. “Had I known this would happen, I should have sent you back for reprogramming.”

Throughout the entire fight, S- Yōko had been in a state of passive surrender, offering no resistance. This submissive stance pleased Jason greatly.

“Fine. I’ll spare your life for now.” He tossed the boy aside onto the ground and pointed to another figure in a black robe. “You go deal with them.”

“As you wish.” A melodious female voice came from beneath the cloak.

Fang Bo speculated this was probably the same person who attacked Kyo Kusanagi that night.

After scanning the information, his suspicion was confirmed.

[S-General (Test Version Seraph)]

[Attack Preference: Medium]

[Attribute Preferences: Spirit, Agility, Strength]

[Trait: Iron Body, Green Blood (Legendary)]

[Threat Level: Extremely Lethal]

“With the Big Dog from that night, it seems the enemy team now has about three Seraphs.”

This was a terrifying situation, meaning the orphanage controlled the power of top-tier fighters, which could significantly impact their plans.

As Fang Bo pondered, Robert was already being carried off by medical staff. Seeing this, Fang Bo quickly intercepted them at a special passage.

“Leave him to me.”

Watching the fight was important, but he couldn’t afford to miss out on experience points either. These two objectives weren’t in conflict.

[Hand-to-Hand Combat Mastery Experience +645]

The experience gain was quite high, but it still wasn’t enough to level up. Fang Bo could only feel a little regret as he returned to the arena.

In the ring, the second match was about to begin. The General’s opponent was a middle-aged man wearing a white training gi.

Sakazaki Tokuma, father of Sakazaki Ryo and Sakazaki Yuri, was a formidable fighter, one of the veterans in the world of martial arts.

However, his opponent was even more terrifying. The bone-chilling cold emanating from her was enough to freeze the very air.

“Hmm~” On the sidelines, Kula widened her eyes, her curiosity piqued by the woman on the stage.

Aside from herself, this was the first time she had ever seen a fighter using ice-based powers, which sparked her intense curiosity.

She wasn’t the only one interested. Many spectators were focused on the battle, but unfortunately, Sakazaki Tokuma was outmatched. After just a few exchanges, the Seraph had completely frozen him.

Even Joan, who had been assisting him, wasn’t spared from the freezing assault.

It seemed the Dragon Fist Team was about to be defeated, but the fans remained enthusiastic.

After all, The Strongest Dragon hadn’t yet taken to the ring—there was still hope for a comeback. Perhaps Sakazaki Ryo could pull off a miraculous turnaround.

[Hand-to-Hand Combat Mastery Experience +661]

[Your Hand-to-Hand Combat Mastery has reached LV5]

Seeing that his combat skill had leveled up, Fang Bo rushed back to the scene, just in time to catch the start of the next match.

[Sakazaki Ryo (The Strongest Dragon)]

[Attack Preference: Medium]

[Attribute Preferences: Strength, Agility, Endurance]

[Trait: Beyond Limits, Dragon Fist]

[Threat Level: Extremely Dangerous]

Beyond Limits: You have mastered the essence of Extreme Flow; your striking techniques’ damage +20%.

Dragon Fist: You possess the power of the Dragon Fist, greatly enhancing your pressure and momentum.

How overwhelming was Sakazaki Ryo’s presence?

Let’s put it this way: From the moment he stepped onto the stage, the entire King of Fighters arena fell into an eerie silence.

Everyone held their breath, fearful of disturbing the battle unfolding before them.

“Such incredible power… Who are these people?” Sakazaki Ryo finally understood why both his father and close friend had been defeated.

This terrifying pressure was something he had only ever felt from Kyo Kusanagi or Iori Yagami, among the very few top-tier fighters.

“If this were a year ago, I might not have been your match. But now, things are different.”

An intense, nearly suffocating aura began to spread, like an ancient beast waking from a deep slumber.

The Seraph didn’t dare take this lightly and quickly surrounded herself with a thick layer of ice for protection.

Even so, her heightened senses warned her that this defensive measure might not be enough.

With a slight flap of her black wings, S-General suddenly raised both arms towards her opponent.

At this moment, Sakazaki Ryo finished gathering his power.

In fact, he could have attacked at any time, but The Strongest Dragon had been waiting—waiting for the woman to finish setting up her defense.

As a fighter, he wanted to defeat his opponent at their peak, which he considered the true mark of a worthy victory.

To Fang Bo, this seemed like a foolish mindset, but it was precisely this that gave Sakazaki Ryo his unique charm.

“Alright then, take this punch!”

Concentrating all his strength into one point, Sakazaki Ryo unleashed an earth-shattering super move.

Heaven and Earth Dominating Fist!

The seemingly impenetrable ice shattered effortlessly, turning into a blizzard of frozen shards in an instant.

With immense force behind the punch, it rocketed toward the Seraph in a flash.
