RWWOKS Chapter 41

This entry is part 42 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

**Chapter 41: I Don’t Eat Beef**

With the two Reincarnators gone, there was no one left to stop him.

Fang Bo ordered his subordinates to put away their weapons and gently tapped the table, saying, “You’ve been standing there for quite a while, but no one has come to serve us?”

The waiters snapped out of their daze, but just as one of them was about to step forward, Sanji intercepted.

“Let me handle it.”

He knew this group was not to be trifled with, and he couldn’t let the others take the risk.

After all, even at this young age, Sanji was already on par with the old man Zeff in terms of skill. Whatever happened, he could handle it.

Step by step, Sanji approached the table, his curled eyebrow fixing a steady gaze on the pirate with a 5 million bounty. Without showing any sign of fear or submission, he asked calmly, “What would the guest like to eat?”

Seeing this, Fang Bo suddenly chuckled. He gestured with his index finger for Sanji to lean closer.

“What do you want?” Sanji, feeling slightly annoyed, leaned down a little for the sake of the restaurant’s safety.

Then, he heard something that left him utterly shocked.

“I’m very curious—why did a descendant of the Vinsmoke family become a chef?”

Upon hearing his true identity revealed, Sanji’s heart raced in panic, but outwardly, he refused to acknowledge it. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“That’s fine,” Fang Bo said with a dismissive wave, turning toward the distant waiter. “Hey, give me a bowl of beef noodles, please. Thank you.”

As the chef turned and headed to the kitchen, Fang Bo smiled wickedly and added, “I don’t like scallions. If there are any in the bowl, I’ll kill everyone on this ship. But if there aren’t, I’ll leave immediately.”

Hearing this, Sanji angrily crushed his cigarette butt. He wanted nothing more than to kick the man square in the face.

But for the safety of everyone else, he restrained his urge.

Time ticked by, and the tense atmosphere in the dining hall remained heavy. The chefs seemed to sense something was wrong, and one by one, they discreetly armed themselves.

However, to the battle-hardened Black Cat Crew, these chefs didn’t even register as a serious threat.

If a fight broke out, they could wipe out the whole restaurant with only a few minor injuries. That was the confidence that came with power.

Back in the day, even when Captain Kuro was still around, they had never felt such self-assurance. But ever since Jason became their vice-captain, the Black Cat Pirates had felt almost invincible.

If Fang Bo’s strength were just a little greater, he might have been able to replace Zango already.

He picked up a rope and gently swayed it, still practicing the art of hypnosis.

Though it couldn’t be used directly against enemies, it helped him train his mental control.

With stronger control, the damage dealt by his skills would increase proportionally, even if his mental strength remained the same.

Whenever he had free time, Fang Bo would train, knowing that skill came from practice.

Soon enough, the chef returned with the beef noodles.

Normally, most bowls of beef noodles came pre-seasoned, but Sanji wasn’t particularly worried.

He knew that the chef who prepared this dish was one who didn’t like to add extra seasonings.

When the beef noodles were placed on the table, Sanji took a quick glance and confirmed that there were, indeed, no scallions.

Now, the pirate had to honor his promise and leave.

Just as Sanji was about to tell him to go, the pirate looked up with a malicious smile.

“I don’t eat beef.”

In a flash, the muzzle of Fang Bo’s gun lit up with a red glow, and a fiery bullet exploded on the chef’s back. The blood that splattered was evaporated by the intense heat before it even hit the floor.

[You’ve activated the skill Ammo Master. Mental consumption: 2 points. The next bullet will deal additional fire damage.]

[Your incendiary bullet dealt 28+6 combined damage to Chef Sam, triggering a burning effect that will inflict continuous fire damage for the next ten seconds.]

Including the fire damage, this shot alone caused at least 40+ damage to the chef. Such was the terrifying power of an epic-grade weapon.

“You bastard!” Sanji was furious, vowing to beat the man senseless.

*First Meat SHOOT!*

Sanji leaped into the air, focusing all his strength into one leg as he aimed to kick the pirate’s neck.

If that kick landed, it would surely send the enemy flying. Its power was not to be underestimated.

He did land the kick—but the one sent flying wasn’t the violent Jason, but the unfortunate giant Tutu.

A stunned Sanji hadn’t even touched the ground before being hit by a punch from Tutu, rolling across the floor for seven or eight meters before coming to a stop.

At this point, there were still three years left before Luffy set out to sea. Sanji’s combat ability was nowhere near what it would later become, roughly equivalent to the aging Red-Leg Zeff at best, meaning he was like a large-scale elite monster at most.

Given enough time, Sanji could handle the giant trio, but time was the one thing he didn’t have right now.

“Ten seconds are up,” Fang Bo said with a smile, raising his rifle. The muzzle aimed at the back of Head Chef Zeff, who was locked in combat with Paul.

Zeff, facing the other direction and lacking Haki, had no way of dodging the shot.

“Old man, get out of the way!”

**Bang!**

The lightning bullet exploded against Zeff’s back, dealing less damage than the fire bullet but inflicting a powerful paralysis effect.

Hesitation in his movements left Zeff wide open to Paul’s fatal strike.

As the saying goes, “The fist fears the young.” At over sixty, Zeff was already considered elderly in the pirate world, especially as a man with a disability.

Had Paul not held back, that strike could have easily done more than leave Zeff gravely injured.

“Still want to resist?” Fang Bo asked with a cold smile, waving his hand as the cursed blade hovered over Zeff’s neck.

Sanji, eyes bloodshot, could only grit his teeth in anger.

“You see, if you’d just complied from the start, this could have been avoided,” Fang Bo said with a casual shrug.

Step by step, Fang Bo walked up behind Sanji, carefully observing him, then aimed his gun at the man’s knee.

With a loud bang, the shot rang out. Sanji screamed in pain and collapsed to the ground, clutching his knee as he howled in agony.

“Sorry, sorry. You’re pretty strong, so I figured it was best to disable your legs for now.”

In this moment, Fang Bo resembled a demon, his calm smile sending chills down everyone’s spine.

Seeing that the chefs were still ready to fight, Fang Bo silenced the room with one sentence: “Don’t act recklessly, or Sanji’s sacrifice will be in vain.”

With that, Fang Bo ordered his men to take Sanji and imprison him aboard their ship. The Black Cat Pirates then departed from the floating restaurant.

“Has the message been sent?”

“Yes, the Navy has received it.”

“Good. I’m sure the Vinsmoke family will send someone soon.”

Fang Bo’s true plan was to use Sanji as bait to strike a deal with the Vinsmoke family. To prevent any betrayal, he devised a diversion, hiding the severely injured Sanji in a secret location.

Even if the other side decided to betray him, without Fang Bo’s guidance, they’d likely only find Sanji’s corpse by the time they tracked him down.

At first, Fang Bo was concerned that the Vinsmoke family might take too long to respond. But by noon the next day, the mobile fortress of Germa 66 appeared on the horizon.

Looking up slowly, Fang Bo saw a girl with pink hair, and he thought to himself, *Just as expected*.

She was a beautiful woman with a slender, curvaceous figure, wearing a short skirt. Her butterfly-wing-shaped cape was striking, and her delicate face left a lasting impression on anyone who saw her.

She was none other than Vinsmoke Reiju, the eldest daughter of the Vinsmoke family, princess of the Germa Kingdom, and famously known as “Poison Pink.”

She was also Sanji’s most beloved sister.

Reiju, like her brothers, had undergone genetic modifications through their father’s “Lineage Factor,” granting her superhuman physical abilities and a unique immunity to poisons. She could absorb and release toxins at will.

Among the five siblings, only Reiju and Sanji retained basic human emotions, though she couldn’t defy her father’s orders.

Upon hearing news of her brother, Reiju rushed overnight to get there as quickly as possible, hoping to free Sanji before it was too late.

Otherwise, he would be dragged back to that cold, unfeeling family, becoming a mere political tool in their alliance with one of the Four Emperors.

Reiju lightly leaped from her massive ship, landing softly on the deck of the Black Cat Pirates’ ship like a feather.

She surveyed her surroundings in silence before finally turning her gaze toward the man wearing a black cloak. “Are you the Jason the Brutal?”

Fang Bo didn’t answer. He refused to let her control the pace of the conversation.

Others may not have known, but he was fully aware that Reiju had no intention of bringing Sanji back to the Germa Kingdom.

If he handed Sanji over, it was very likely that before they’d gotten far, she would release him.

“Where is he?” Reiju’s voice wavered slightly when she didn’t receive a response.

Seeing her reaction, Fang Bo opened his hand, revealing a lock of Sanji’s hair.

“He’s in my hands, but I won’t release him until I see some benefits.”

Taking a deep breath, Reiju asked in a low voice, “What are your terms for this trade?”

Just as she finished speaking, the long-awaited system notification finally appeared.

[ID 14552 has triggered a hidden mission: Sanji’s Escape.]

[Mission description: You have exposed Sanji’s hidden identity, and unknown challenges now lie ahead.]

[Mission objective: Complete your trade with the Vinsmoke family.]

[Warning: Ensure the safety of the hostage, or face an unstoppable terror.]

There were no specific requirements—success simply meant completing the trade.

It seemed simple enough, but in reality, danger lurked beneath the surface.

If Fang Bo didn’t fully understand the Vinsmoke family’s dynamics and casually handed Sanji over to Reiju, the mission would likely be deemed a failure soon after.

On the other hand, if he insisted on completing the trade with Germa Kingdom, Reiju, who cherished her brother, might take action against him.

No matter which option he chose, danger was inevitable. The question was which side he would ultimately decide to help.

“I’ve got something I need repaired,” Fang Bo said, holding up a pair of goggles as he began negotiating. “Fix this for me, and maybe I can help you with something big.”

“I can tell—you don’t really want Sanji to return to your family, do you?”
