RWWOKS Chapter 43

This entry is part 44 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

**Chapter 43: Prototype Raid Suit**

As Sanji regained his composure, he performed a reverse spinning kick, sending Cyborg Gary flying.

At that moment, Small Lick seized the opportunity and lunged at Gary, aiming a ferocious bite at his crotch.

Sanji, who was about to chase after Gary, suddenly felt a chill down below and instinctively stepped back, wanting to avoid the vicious creature.

For anyone else, a bite from Small Lick would have been devastating. But let’s not forget, Gary was a cyborg. Germa’s technology stripped him of even the most basic emotions, and there was no way they’d leave him with any sense of male dignity.

Ignoring Small Lick’s attack, Gary grabbed the creature’s massive jaws and, with sheer brute force, tore them apart.

With its jaw rendered useless, Small Lick was no longer a threat.

As for Big Head, who was charging toward him, Gary casually threw a punch, smashing the giant’s head to pieces as if he were spiking a volleyball.

“Pathetic.” Gary’s cold gaze remained unflinching as he let the giant’s blood spray over him.

For the East Blue, a Germa gene soldier like Gary was simply overpowered.

Stepping on Big Head’s corpse, Gary pulled Small Lick’s head clean off.

In an instant, both Big Head and Small Lick were brutally killed by the enemy. Since they had acquired their necklace, the Giant Brothers had never faced such a terrifying foe.

Even Fang Bo’s expression shifted with uncertainty. He realized he might have made a grave mistake: “This guy’s strength must be at least 25, maybe even over 30 points.”

After several successful missions, Fang Bo had begun to lose his respect for the Reincarnation Space. This mission served as a wake-up call—underestimating the system would surely lead to disaster.

He had to carefully plan even against the pirate admiral, yet when dealing with the World Government and Germa Kingdom, he acted as if everything was under his control. It was clear now—he had assumed too much, believing his enemies would simply follow his plan.

He hadn’t considered the vast difference in power. A serious effort from the enemy could easily spell his demise.

The terror of Germa 66 was not something a low-level Reincarnator could handle.

Thankfully, Fang Bo wasn’t in too deep yet. If he could defeat the cyborg in front of him, he could free himself from the influence of the Vinsmoke family.

He had found Sanji, but capturing him was now no longer Black Cat Crew’s concern.

“I’ll need to be more cautious moving forward,” Fang Bo muttered as he raised his flintlock rifle. The muzzle gleamed with a shimmering substance.

**Ammo Master, Ice Bullet!**

Fang Bo’s plan was to immobilize the enemy. Without agility, he could slowly chip away at Gary’s health.

Even if it took time, he’d eventually be able to bring down this formidable foe.

However, Fang Bo had still underestimated him. Gary wasn’t just strong—his agility far exceeded everyone’s expectations.

The moment Fang Bo fired the ice bullet, Gary kicked Big Head’s corpse into the air. The bullet shattered into a spreading frost, but it didn’t touch its intended target.

Realizing the situation had worsened, Fang Bo immediately fired his grappling hook, intending to leave the dangerous area.

Close combat wasn’t his forte—it was better to leave that to Sanji. He could return later to heal any wounds.

The hook shot out, and just as his body began to be pulled away, the rope was grabbed by Gary, who yanked him back with one swift motion.

“Don’t think you can escape,” Gary said coldly, pulling Fang Bo in and delivering a brutal knee to his side, followed by a textbook-perfect elbow strike to the back.

Fang Bo saw Gary’s arm flash with a glow, turning a single hit into a double blow, leaving Fang Bo on the verge of death.

[You’ve taken a knee strike from Gary, dealing 33 points of critical damage, with a 5-second crippled effect.]

[Passive skill “Inch Force” activated, dealing an additional 8 points of damage, inflicting liver hemorrhage.]

[You’ve taken an elbow strike from Gary, dealing 26 points of normal damage.]

[Gary’s Two-Hit Combo skill activated, dealing identical damage again.]

[You’ve taken a total of 93 points of physical damage.]

Fang Bo’s total health was only 110 points, considered quite high. Had it been another Reincarnator, they’d likely have been killed instantly by this single encounter.

Even so, Gary could easily finish him off. The five-second cripple effect left Fang Bo unable to move.

Thankfully, controlling summoned creatures didn’t require movement—just a thought. The tankiest of the giants, Tutu, slammed his long ears into Gary, knocking him away.

But the crisis wasn’t over. If Gary came back for another round, Tutu alone wouldn’t be enough to stop him.

“Tsk, this is such a pain,” Sanji said, appearing from the side just in time.

Though Sanji had suffered greatly, and though Fang Bo had harmed his restaurant, in the heat of the moment, Sanji still chose to help.

That’s just the kind of kind-hearted person Sanji was.

As Sanji charged forward, Gary instinctively eased up on his assault, though he still hit hard enough to knock Sanji out cold.

At that moment, Fang Bo lifted his head, eyes glowing like sharp blades piercing into Gary’s mind.

**Mental Shock!**

Fang Bo poured 20 full points of spirit into the attack, delivering devastating damage. Blood poured from Gary’s ears and nose as he reeled from the psychic blow.

“Now’s my chance!” Sanji’s eyes lit up. He leapt into the air and unleashed a flurry of kicks, landing over a dozen strikes on Gary.

Each blow left deep dents in Gary’s flesh—on his head, shoulders, back, flanks, chest, and legs. Sanji then flipped in midair, channeling all his power into a single leg, delivering a crushing kick to Gary’s chest.

The force of the attack sent Gary flying.

**Bang!**

A familiar gunshot echoed. This time, Gary couldn’t dodge the ice bullet.

Tossing aside the empty bottle of Perfect Recovery Potion, Fang Bo had returned to peak condition. The bullet hit its mark, and ice spread over Gary’s body.

Fang Bo knew this was his chance. He had to finish Gary off while he was frozen.

If he recovered, there’d be no stopping him.

At the critical moment, Tutu replaced Paul, who swung his cursed blade in a flawless arc, easily slicing off one of Gary’s arms.

Finally, Gary collapsed to the ground, rolling a few times before attempting to stand. But Tutu had already latched onto Gary’s remaining right arm.

Gary’s strength was immense, but strength comes from the ground. With no balance and only one arm, it was impossible for him to throw Tutu off.

Taking advantage of the situation, Paul struck again. The cursed blade’s real damage caused unbearable pain to the cyborg.

“Just go down already,” Sanji muttered, charging forward and kicking Gary square in the face, knocking him flat.

Before Gary could rise again, a familiar mental shock hit him, and the next moment, a cold gun barrel was shoved into his mouth.

“You’re such a troublesome opponent,” Fang Bo said coldly.

**Armor-Piercing Bullet, fire!**

The specially crafted bullet pierced through Gary’s skull, inflicting devastating and fatal damage. The cyborg’s body twitched a few times before going completely still.

[You have killed Cyborg Gary.]

[Reputation with the Germa Kingdom: -50, current status: Neutral.]

[Vinsmoke Judge’s Favorability: -10.]

[Vinsmoke Reiju’s Favorability: +20.]

[You have obtained a Storyline Treasure Chest (Gold).]

Ignoring the flood of notifications, Fang Bo’s eyes were locked on the golden treasure chest in front of him.

“It seems that defeating a powerful enemy beyond the current difficulty significantly increases the value of the treasure chest,” Fang Bo thought, taking a deep breath as he reached out to open it immediately.

This battle had cost him dearly, even using his Perfect Restoration Potion. If he didn’t get some decent rewards, it wouldn’t justify the risk he had taken.

[You are opening the Golden Storyline Treasure Chest.]

[You have gained 500 Story Points.]

[You have obtained the Prototype Raid Suit Blueprint.]

[You have obtained a Gene Modification Serum.]

[You have obtained x3 High-Potency Adrenaline.]

*Prototype Raid Suit Blueprint*: Can be used to attempt crafting Germa’s Raid Suit.

*Gene Modification Serum*: Allows the user to readjust allocated attributes.

*High-Potency Adrenaline*: Temporarily increases Constitution by 5 points for 10 minutes.

“Raid Suit, huh? That’s quite the valuable item,” Fang Bo licked his lips, recalling the transformation sequences from those guys.

It might be a little embarrassing to wear, but that didn’t change how powerful the armor was.

Crafting it would likely cost him a significant amount of Story Points, and he still needed to upgrade his active skills—particularly the healing ability’s additional effects.

With that in mind, Fang Bo wasn’t sure if his current rewards would be enough. He could only hope his upcoming missions would go smoothly.

Now that the strongest opponent was dead, the remaining Germa soldiers posed no real threat.

Under Jango’s command, the enemy was quickly wiped out.

Looking at the massive warship in front of him, Fang Bo felt a strong temptation. In terms of scale, this ship could rival a Navy battleship.

Aside from anything else, its firepower was top-tier and would be a major asset in future naval battles.

Leading his crew aboard, Fang Bo took full control of the warship, without any intention of sharing it with others.

The Black Cat Pirates had grown significantly, now boasting a fleet-level force, and as the vice-captain, Fang Bo deserved his own ship.

“From now on, I’ll call you the *Fearless*.”

The long voyage began, and it wasn’t until the next morning that Fang Bo could finally relax.

No second wave of enemies appeared. Cyborg Gary had been the mission’s final boss, and with him defeated, Germa 66 wouldn’t be able to cross the ocean and pursue them anytime soon.

This meant the hidden mission was now a success.

Arriving at the designated location, Fang Bo watched as Sanji disembarked from the *Fearless*.

“A word of advice,” Fang Bo said, “you’d better keep your attachment to the Baratie a secret.”

Sanji gave him a long, deep look before turning and walking into the island.

“Now, let’s see what kind of rewards this mission brings.”
