Chapter 11: Departure to the Northern Province
“Well done!”
“It seems there’s nothing more for me to teach you!”
“From this day forward, you are the soaring eagle of the Dressrosa family. I await the day you become a baron in our family!”
“On that day, I will host a grand celebration for you!”
In front of the castle, Engle Dressrosa gave his son one final piece of advice.
He grew increasingly proud of his son.
The life potions had been distributed, something even he hadn’t anticipated.
However, this decision was undoubtedly the right one. At this moment, the hearts of over 400 knights were completely won over by his son. This would surely help his son navigate the toughest early days with more ease.
“Yes, Father!”
Thor nodded respectfully, and he couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement inside him.
What lay ahead was a new world, a stage that was entirely his.
He had been preparing for this day for a full month, and he was filled with anticipation.
“Go, I await your good news!”
Count Engle Dressrosa said with a smile.
“Yes, Father!”
Thor nodded again, this time without addressing him as “Sir.” After speaking, he turned and pulled the reins, and his horse let out a neigh.
Behind him, 400 knights followed closely.
Together, they departed in a grand procession.
Behind them, Count Engle Dressrosa and Michael stood watching.
They stayed until the figures gradually disappeared from view.
“Let’s go. The young eagle must eventually take flight into the blue sky!”
With a gentle voice, Count Engle Dressrosa smiled and turned back to the castle.
“Indeed, my lord!”
“I believe that Young Master Thor will undoubtedly become a mighty eagle.”
Michael responded with a smile.
The two figures disappeared.
On the other side, Thor led the 400 knights away from Dressrosa Castle, heading toward the Northern Province.
Dressrosa Castle was located in the Frostmoon Province, and the Northern Province lay just above it. It wasn’t necessary to cross any other provinces, but as a newly established province, the Frostmoon Province was vast. Crossing it would take a full month.
But Thor was not in a hurry.
After all, his father, Count Engle Dressrosa, had prepared more than just weapons, armor, and gold for him—there was also a large amount of supplies.
A month? Even half a year’s worth of provisions would be enough.
As for safety, that was the least of his concerns.
At least in the Frostmoon Province, there wouldn’t be any major issues.
And when they entered the Northern Province?
With 400 knights, they would already be a significant force in the Northern Province, enough to ensure their safety.
What disappointed Thor, though, was that even after leaving the Dressrosa family’s territory, his daily intelligence reports hadn’t yielded much.
It couldn’t be helped. On the one hand, he was on a journey and couldn’t venture deep into the territories of other nobles.
On the other hand, while the Frostmoon Province was also a new province, it had been under development for hundreds of years.
It was mostly fully developed, so there weren’t many opportunities to stumble upon anything valuable.
After a month, they had only gathered about 1,000 gold coins’ worth of spoils.
While it wasn’t a small amount, compared to his earlier gains, it wasn’t much.
However, once they stepped into the Northern Province, everything changed.
It was only the first day after they had just entered the Northern Province.
His daily intelligence report made his eyes light up.
“Ding, the intelligence system has been updated!”
“Would you like to open it?”
The mechanical voice sounded, as it did every day.
“Open!”
Thor responded casually, not expecting much.
But the moment his words fell…
“Buzz!”
【Daily Intelligence Updated】

A series of golden characters appeared, completely different from what he had seen before.
Thor’s casual glance suddenly became focused. He had expected nothing of interest today, but a quick scan revealed several items that made his eyes gleam.
A smile crept across his face, impossible to suppress.
Just as he had expected.
The moment they stepped into the Northern Province, the rewards from the intelligence reports were incomparable to what they had been before.
Even though many of these opportunities were beyond his reach for now, even the ones he could take advantage of were thrilling.
For example, the two boar beasts three thousand meters away. If he remembered correctly, these were Tier 1 pinnacle magical beasts, with each one worth over a hundred gold coins. More importantly, their meat could boost life energy and was incredibly mild.
Securing two would ensure he had enough food for the journey to Loren City, the capital of the Northern Province.
Not to mention the spiny butterfly fish mentioned in the second report.
His preparations over the past month weren’t in vain.
He remembered this type of fish—it was native to the Northern Province and extremely rare.
If boar beast meat could accelerate life energy accumulation, then spiny butterfly fish could enhance a knight’s aptitude.
The latter was clearly far more precious than the former.
After all, aptitude determines how far a knight can go on their path.
The value of improving one’s aptitude is immeasurable.
And beyond that, other options were equally tempting.
Especially the Star Moon Fruit, whose value was comparable to, if not greater than, that of the spiny butterfly fish, as it was also a key ingredient for advanced life potions, second only to the Life Fruit.
In the kingdom, this fruit alone could spark fierce competition among earth knights.
In royal auctions, it was priceless.
Even just thinking about it made Thor’s throat tighten.
“Too bad!”
He sighed softly, eventually shaking his head.
One day.
One thousand miles—there was no way a mere apprentice knight could make it, not even a sky knight.
By the time he got there, he’d probably only find dirt.
