GROIKTP Chapter 596

This entry is part 519 of 534 in the series Global Reincarnation: Only i Know the Plot

**Real World**

Beijing.

Chen Ye appeared in the spacious living room.

Chen Weiwei, who was watching TV, noticed him and immediately ran over.

“Brother, you’re back?”

Chen Ye nodded and smiled, “Watching TV?”

“Yeah!” Weiwei responded, then asked, “Brother, are you hungry? I made some soup, and it’s ready to drink now.”

To be honest, Chen Ye did feel a bit hungry.

“Alright, I’ll have a bowl.”

“Okay, sit down for a while,” Weiwei said as she quickly ran into the kitchen.

Chen Ye sat down on the sofa and started watching TV.

To be fair, he’d been in this world for quite some time, but he hadn’t really watched much television here. Mainly because, back on Earth, he had been turned off by all those cheesy dramas starring pretty boys, which had ruined his interest in TV series.

Chen Ye had suffered through enough of that in his previous life and had sworn off dramas since then.

At the moment, the TV was showing a modern drama. Initially, Chen Ye thought it was just a typical urban romance because the male and female leads were both good-looking. But as he continued watching, he realized that it also featured the *Reincarnation Space*.

Gradually, Chen Ye noticed something odd.

The male lead in this drama had actually received a “super-god” rating in the *Reincarnation Space* missions?

What the hell?

It almost seemed like they were talking about him!

“Soup’s ready!” Weiwei’s voice interrupted his thoughts as she brought over a large bowl of soup.

“Try it, brother. Be careful, it’s hot.”

Chen Ye pointed at the TV and asked, “Weiwei, what’s the name of this show you’re watching?”

“It’s called *King of the Reincarnators*!”

Suddenly, as if remembering something, Weiwei laughed, “Oh, right! The experiences of the male lead in this drama are a lot like yours, brother. He gets super-god ratings in every mission in the *Reincarnation Space* too. If it weren’t for the fact that the male lead has some complicated relationships with several female characters, I’d have thought this drama was based on your experiences!”

Chen Ye wasn’t surprised that Weiwei knew about the *Reincarnation Space*. After all, you could easily find information about it online.

But after hearing what she said, Chen Ye’s expression darkened.

He was certain now: the director of this drama was definitely implying it was about him!

In this world, who else could consistently get super-god ratings in the *Reincarnation Space* other than him?

Damn it!

They’d turned his legendary experiences into a drama without permission?

This was an infringement!

Chen Ye wasn’t particularly bothered by the copyright violation, but he certainly didn’t appreciate having his image tarnished. The dumbass director had even cast a soft, effeminate pretty boy to play him?

If they had cast a more masculine actor, Chen Ye might not have been so upset.

“How are the ratings for this show?” he asked.

“It’s really popular!” Weiwei replied. “It’s the hottest show right now. They rerun it six times a day, even late at night!”

Hearing this, Chen Ye felt even more irritated.

It was already late, so he didn’t do much else. After finishing the bowl of soup, he said he was going to rest and headed to his room for the night.

The next morning.

After waking up, the first thing Chen Ye did was grab his phone and call Murong Chui Xue.

“Chen Ye?” came a voice on the other end.

“Good morning, Chui Xue.”

From the other end of the line came Song Lingrong’s cheerful laugh. “Oh, and congratulations on getting the highest mission rating again last night.”

Chen Ye skipped the small talk and got straight to the point. “Chui Xue, I’m calling because I need your help with something.”

“Oh?” Song Lingrong’s tone immediately turned serious. “Tell me, Chen Ye.”

As Shura, one of the most powerful reincarnators, countless people wanted to have dealings with him. If Chen Ye even hinted that he needed help, people would line up around the block to offer assistance.

Even someone like Song Lingrong would be eager to maintain a good relationship with Chen Ye, especially since she owed him a few favors.

“Well, last night I came across a TV show, and it seemed like they were using me as inspiration…” Chen Ye explained the situation, then added, “I wouldn’t normally make a fuss over something like this, but the show seems to be damaging my reputation for the sake of ratings.”

“While the show doesn’t outright say it’s about me, the viewers online are all assuming the male lead is me. And the producers haven’t made any effort to clarify things…”

Hearing this, Song Lingrong became even more concerned.

“What’s the name of this show?”

“*King of the Reincarnators*.”

“Alright, Chen Ye, I’ll look into it right away,” Song Lingrong said, her face clouded with displeasure.

Although she usually didn’t pay much attention to the entertainment industry, she was aware that it could be a pretty unscrupulous place. She was surprised that the producers had the audacity to pull something like this. And where were the regulators? How could they allow a show to use someone of Chen Ye’s stature—someone even the highest-ranking officials respected—in such a reckless way?

“Don’t worry, Chen Ye. I’ll have an answer for you by the end of the day!”

“Thanks, but there’s no rush. There’s one more thing I need your help with,” Chen Ye said.

Song Lingrong was slightly taken aback. “What is it?”

“I want to go to Hell,” Chen Ye said with a smile. “Can you issue an order for the soldiers guarding the entrance to let me through?”

Upon hearing this, a glint of understanding flashed in Song Lingrong’s eyes.

“Are you going there for Fengshen?”

It wasn’t hard to guess. In the current state of Hell, Fengshen’s head was the most valuable prize. Otherwise, who would willingly venture into that place?

“That’s right,” Chen Ye replied openly.

Song Lingrong laughed. “Judging by your tone, it sounds like you’re feeling confident?”

Chen Ye thought for a moment. “I can’t say exactly how confident I am, but I’m sure I can at least protect myself.”

“Need any help?”

“Not for now. I’m going for an assassination, not to start a war!”

Song Lingrong chuckled. “Alright, I understand. I’ll make sure the guards are notified… Good luck!”

After hanging up, Song Lingrong sat in her office, a look of envy on her face.

Fengshen’s head was worth a million reincarnation points.

Whoever claimed it would gain a huge boost in power.

She wondered if Chen Ye would succeed.

Though envious, she wouldn’t forget the task Chen Ye had entrusted her with. She first made a call to the commander of the military district guarding the gate to Hell.

Then, she summoned her secretary and instructed her to investigate the TV show that was mocking Shura.

“My only demand is this: I want the show’s director, lead actors, screenwriters, and producers… all arrested!”
