GTA Chapter 152

This entry is part 153 of 236 in the series Online Game: God Tier Assasin, I am The Shadow!

When Qin Feng arrived, he overheard the townsfolk discussing him.

At the same time, several official personnel were busy maintaining order.

One young official woman walked past Qin Feng. Her codename was “Bionic Electronic Fox.” Judging by her mage outfit and decent appearance, she seemed approachable.

She approached a group of middle-aged and elderly women who were gossiping, trying to calm them down.

Bionic Electronic Fox: “Everyone, please be patient. He surely has his own priorities. If he said he’d come, he will. If you’re tired of waiting, why not log off and rest for now?”

Her voice was soft and gentle, but the older women dismissed her outright. Instead, a slightly chubby woman in a black priest’s robe, with a fiery personality, couldn’t hold back any longer.

Chubby Priestess: “Why bother being so polite to them? Shut your mouths, you old hags. The officials spent time and resources to help you get to Level 3, and that’s still not enough? You want them to babysit you through the rest of the game too? The audacity!”

Her blunt words caused a curly-haired middle-aged woman to bristle with anger. Shooting a glare at the priestess, she sneered: “So what if we got to Level 3? Don’t act like we wouldn’t have managed without your help!”

Another elderly woman chimed in, equally rude: “Exactly. The officials were sent to handle the monsters, and they can’t even do their jobs. What’s the point of them?”

An old man holding a staff pointed at the priestess, grumbling: “What kind of codenames do young people come up with these days? Shameful. Truly shameful.”

The priestess, undeterred, snapped back: “Mind your own business, old man. Shadow is the global number one. Be grateful he’s even sparing time to deal with your mess. If I had connections with someone that powerful, I’d tell him not to bother coming. Ungrateful people like you don’t deserve it.”

The curly-haired woman, now trembling with rage, jabbed a finger at her. “You think we’re desperate for him? Huh? He can come or not for all I care! If it weren’t for the cost of teleporting away, I’d have left already! Do you think we’re stuck waiting here for him?”

Chubby Priestess: “Then why are you still here? Why not just log off, have a nice meal, and wait until midnight to teleport away?”

Curly-haired Woman: “I’m just trying to save time and get out to grind monsters sooner!”

Chubby Priestess: “Oh, so your time is valuable, but his isn’t? You expect him to waste his time just so you can save yours? Isn’t that hilarious?”

The town was in an uproar.

Admittedly, the players had been waiting for quite a while.

However…

All of them had already reached Level 3, meaning they could log off anytime they wanted.

Their sole reason for staying was opportunistic: once Shadow killed the flying bosses, they wanted to rush out and farm monsters to extend their lifespans.

In Starter Towns, monsters respawn very slowly after being killed, often leading to fierce competition.

These “clever” players had realized that with everyone stuck in the safe zone, plenty of monsters would have respawned outside. The moment Shadow eliminated the flying bosses, they planned to rush out and secure the best kills.

Originally, Qin Feng intended to quickly kill the bosses, grab the Ancient God Tablet, and leave.

But after hearing their conversations, he changed his mind.

As the saying goes, “Backing down only leads to heartache.”

These shameless people deserved a lesson.

Of course, Qin Feng didn’t intend to waste much time on them.

“Mark them as hostile.”

Qin Feng marked every player in the town who had insulted him as hostile.

Their names turned light red in his interface, indicating hostility. If the names were dark red, it would mean they had “kill points.”

Scanning the crowd, Qin Feng noted names like “Fortune and Peace #1025,” “Happy Ying Ying,” and “Life’s Big Stage, Golden Years Ahead.”

Fifteen players in total.

Quietly, Qin Feng slipped into the forest outside the town.

He summoned Osirio with a simple motion.

The massive bone wyvern emerged with a yawn. Its green eyes glanced toward the town, picking up on the noisy commotion. It chuckled darkly: “Ah, humans. How amusing. Kekeke… ‘6!’”

Qin Feng rolled his eyes: “6 your sister. Summon your minions.”

Osirio nodded, lifting its bone-feathered wings. It unleashed its predator king summoning skill.

In an instant, twelve slightly smaller bone wyverns materialized from the surrounding space.

Each of these emerald-grade wyverns had wingspans of over ten meters, with fierce skeletal claws and glowing green eyes. Although their skills weren’t as numerous or potent as Osirio’s, they were still formidable.

Qin Feng sighed inwardly. This epic mount was so different from the one he had in his past life. His previous mount had been reliable and steady, but this one? It seemed slightly unhinged—like it had eaten something it shouldn’t have.

“Target the hostiles,” he instructed.

“If they step outside, kill them. If they try to teleport to another town, block them. Don’t let them enter the teleportation room.”

With those orders, Qin Feng sealed the fate of those fifteen players.

Summoning Osirio’s minions was a decisive move. Qin Feng wouldn’t let those obnoxious players reap any benefits from his actions.

Moments later, twelve bone wyverns—larger and more intimidating than the five flying bosses—took to the skies from the forest.

Two wyverns hovered directly above the town, descending to block the entrance to the teleportation room in the town center.

While the safe zone rules prohibited violence, the wyverns’ physical presence was enough. Their massive bodies effectively barred entry, preventing the fifteen targets from accessing the teleportation portal.

The remaining ten wyverns circled the outskirts of the town, ready to attack anyone who dared to step out.

Now, those fifteen players could forget about farming lifespans.

Want to leave town? You’d be killed instantly.

Want to teleport to another town? Sorry, you can’t even get close to the portal.

Since the summoned creatures had no time limits and didn’t tire, they could maintain their vigil indefinitely unless Qin Feng needed them elsewhere.

This unexpected turn of events sent shockwaves through Lucky Town.

Shrieks erupted as players panicked.

Everyone was baffled. How could monsters suddenly land outside the teleportation portal?

Wasn’t this supposed to be a safe zone?

The entire town was left in stunned silence.

Meanwhile, high above, a shocking sight unfolded: the twisted forms of the flying boss monsters were being sliced in half by an unseen force.

Their health bars vanished instantly as they dropped dead on the spot.

“What… just happened?”

Hundreds of players stared, dumbfounded. Many were so terrified by the bone wyverns that they logged off on the spot.
