- Online Game : God Level Assasin, I am The Shadow!
- GTA Chapter 154
Players leaving the town were stunned by the scene.
Some paused in their tracks, confused as they watched the players who had been killed moments before.
“What’s going on? Why did the boss’s summons suddenly attack?”
“Oh no! Shadow must’ve lost control of the monsters—they’re acting on their own!”
“Wait a second, weren’t the ones killed kind of suspicious?”
A flood of speculation filled the air.
One bald middle-aged man, who had just stepped outside the safe zone with one foot, promptly twisted back around and returned to the safety zone, warily eyeing the circling bone wyverns overhead.
Most players hesitated to leave the safe zone. However, some who had ventured more than 100 meters away remained unscathed, fueling further theories.
It became apparent to some: the killed players weren’t random victims—they’d been singled out.
Among the first to realize this was “Mei Mo Jiu Gan Na Ke Bu Xing,” the spirited female priestess. Her eyes lit up with understanding.
“Shadow must’ve marked them as hostile!” she exclaimed.
“Otherwise, why would only those few be targeted?”
“But… how is that even possible?”
“With so many people in the plaza, he still managed to pinpoint them precisely… how did he know they insulted him?”
The priestess was astounded.
The killed players, particularly the middle-aged ones, were fuming. Losing a fight cost them years of lifespan, and they were livid.
The curly-haired woman “Happy Ying Ying” finally lost it. She turned toward Qin Feng and screamed: “What kind of person are you? Crazy, are you? Keep your beasts in check, or give me my life back! I lost three years of tradable lifespan and seven years of non-tradable lifespan! If you don’t return it, I’ll sue you for murder!”
Her shrewish tirade shocked many younger players.
“Who is this person?”
“She’s actually daring to yell at Shadow? Right in his face?”
“Ignorance truly is bliss.”
“Actually, there’s another saying: ignorance ensures doom. I think she’s about to face serious trouble.”
“Come on, she’s in the safe zone. What could he possibly do to her?”
Qin Feng, meanwhile, was casually looting a golden boss’s corpse with Greedy Hand, harvesting a pile of platinum-tier equipment. He couldn’t help but lament the meager rewards: since the bosses were only Level 10, each one only granted 3 evolution points per kill, compared to the usual 7 points for golden bosses.
Hearing the curly-haired woman’s shrieking accusations, Qin Feng responded indifferently: “Don’t court death, and it won’t come to you. Died once already, and still can’t keep your mouth shut?”
“Happy Ying Ying” sneered: “Oh, so being high-level makes you special? My son is a guild leader! If you touch me again, I’ll have him slaughter all your pets!”
The crowd watching was dumbfounded.
“Is she serious?”
“She really thinks it’s still like the old world?”
Even some official personnel couldn’t hide their exasperation.
One of them, Bionic Electronic Fox, hesitantly spoke up: “Minister An just sent me a private message. He found out this woman’s identity. Her name is Feng Shaoying. Recently, she’s been summoned by the police several times. Apparently, she takes her large dog out without a leash, and it chased a child down some stairs. When the child fell and got injured, she refused to take responsibility…”
Another official youth snorted: “Classic double standard. Honestly, Shadow handled this perfectly. Some people only learn their lesson the hard way.”
Another sighed: “Too bad she’s in the safe zone. Even Shadow can’t touch her here…”
Before he could finish, Osirio suddenly lifted its wings. The white bone feathers shot downward, creating a powerful gust that slammed Happy Ying Ying out of the safe zone.
“Ahhhh—!”
Before she could react, two bone swords pierced through her chest, killing her instantly. She dissolved into white light, respawning back in the plaza.
At the edge of the safe zone, her corpses—left behind by the system—lay sprawled for everyone to see, lasting five minutes before disappearing.
When she resurrected, Happy Ying Ying was disoriented, her head spinning. She had no idea how she had just died again.
“Murder! You dared to kill me again! You’re finished!”
She shrieked and then promptly logged off in anger, her threats echoing even as she disappeared.
Qin Feng barely glanced her way, uninterested in further interaction.
The summoned bone wyverns, including Osirio’s elite minions, could patrol for hours or even days. Qin Feng had no pressing use for them elsewhere, so they would stay and monitor the town for now.
The other middle-aged players who had been marked hostile also gulped nervously. None dared to speak again.
The entire plaza fell into an eerie silence.
“What just happened?”
Some players were dumbfounded, especially after watching Osirio physically eject someone from the safe zone.
“From a physics perspective, that’s completely logical,” a studious player explained. “Safe zones only prevent health loss—they don’t negate physical forces…”
The other hostile players exchanged uneasy glances and tried to quietly retreat toward the teleportation room, hoping to escape to another town.
But Osirio had other plans.
Yawning dramatically, it flapped its massive wings and muttered in a chilling, indifferent tone: “Trash and dogs prohibited from entry…”
The two bone wyverns guarding the teleportation room swung their wings, blocking access and flinging the hostile players back into the ruins.
One by one, they tumbled into the rubble, disheveled and humiliated.
More spectators were left in shock.
“Wait… this mount can talk?”
“Having a mount like this must feel incredible!”
Osirio’s green eyes flickered with curiosity as it mused aloud: “By the way, what’s a dog?”
Qin Feng felt a twinge of exasperation.
The wyvern had been imbued with the local language but lacked fundamental knowledge of Blue Star’s fauna. Naturally, it had no idea what a dog was.
Qin Feng quickly finished looting the five golden boss corpses and made his way to the edge of the safe zone. He left behind grotesque, crimson blooms sprouting from the remains, creating an ominous, eerie tableau.
When he returned to the town square, his somber presence against the macabre backdrop sent shivers down the spines of onlookers.
“I’m done here. I’ll be leaving now.”
Before departing, Qin Feng casually greeted the official players.
Ignoring the dumbfounded stares of the townsfolk, he descended into the underground teleportation room, checking his storage pack.
This mission’s greatest prize lay within: the Ancient God Tablet of Blood Source Blessing—now safely in his possession.
