RWWOKS Chapter 243

This entry is part 244 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

This move, Heaven and Earth Dominating Fist, was unparalleled in power. The terrifying destructive force seemed capable of obliterating everything in its path, with no way to resist it.

S-General couldn’t dodge it, but of course, the girl with the blue hair didn’t need to dodge at all.

Without a change in expression, she spread her arms wide to meet Sakazaki Ryo’s punch head-on.

Mokobotomo!

In an instant, an invisible barrier enveloped the entire ring.

“Huh?” Iori Yagami suddenly sat up, his gaze fixed intently on the female Seraph below.

He felt a very familiar power.

It was an ability that involved time, essentially no different from his Yashiki Cup.

Iori could freeze time using the sacred artifact Yasakani no Magatama, but where did this woman’s power come from?

Aside from the Orphanage, the only person in the arena who could answer that question was Fang Bo.

“This is…” Iori seemed to have recognized the woman’s ability.

Every Seraph replicated the powers of a significant figure from their respective storylines, and this S-General was no exception.

Esther, the powerful figure from The Crimson Eyes World, was the youngest and most powerful general in the entire empire.

She wielded the Ice Emperor Artifact, “Demon Manifestation: Pure Demon”, granting her control over ice and an incredibly potent hidden ability, enabling her to freeze both time and space for short bursts.

While the duration was short and the area of effect small, it was perfect for one-on-one combat, as demonstrated in the ring. Sakazaki Ryo’s most powerful punch was halted right before the woman, just a hair’s breadth away from concluding the match.

Yet, he remained frozen, unable to advance, much to the distress of his sister, Sakazaki Yuri, who screamed helplessly from the sidelines.

If her brother lost, the Dragon Fist Team would have to slink away in defeat.

The audience held their breath in anticipation, all waiting silently for the outcome.

Faced with an opponent who had lost the ability to fight back, S-General showed no mercy. She immediately used her ability to freeze Sakazaki Ryo, turning him into a large ice sculpture.

In the arena, killing was prohibited, so she had to end the match in this manner.

“Just throw him off the stage,” she said casually as she prepared to kick the ice block off the platform.

But suddenly, an unexpected change occurred: the ice shattered violently.

Sakazaki Ryo erupted with terrifying energy. His eyes blazed with the ferocity of a hungry tiger, as if he were ready to devour his opponent whole.

Despite suffering severe frostbite, he still managed to deliver his final blow.

MAX Super Move: Overlord Roar Fist!

Facing the ferocious Strongest Dragon, S-General remained unshaken. She simply muttered two words from her lips: “Support.”

In the next instant, a massive carnivorous flower burst from the ring, opening its gigantic maw to intercept the energy wave.

The Overlord Roar Fist, which had been charged with all of Sakazaki Ryo’s power, was easily consumed by the flower.

On the special seating for support players on the left side of the ring, Jason, the Reincarnator, lowered the throwing device he had been holding.

The carnivorous flower he had just created was the work of another Seraph, Yōko.

By materializing the summoned creatures, he could make them available for his teammates to use whenever and wherever needed, making it a very powerful support ability.

Having deactivated the summon, Jason glanced in a certain direction and then calmly left the ring area.

In the arena, Sakazaki Ryo, now unable to continue, was automatically declared the loser by the referee, meaning the Dragon Fist Team had lost this match.

Victory for Team Jason in the third round!

His teammates, too shaken to mourn, scrambled to lift Sakazaki Ryo off the ring.

Fang Bo, who had been waiting, quickly healed Sakazaki Ryo amid the team’s gratitude.

[Hand-to-Hand Combat Mastery Experience +661]

The experience was high, but not enough for another level-up. Worse, Fang Bo was running low on mental energy.

Mental Energy: 16/36

Next up was the Brutal Team. He needed to conserve some of his remaining fighting strength for the upcoming battles.

Of course, Fang Bo didn’t regret his actions.

First of all, the Hand-to-Hand Combat Mastery would require 1200 Plot Points to reach level six.

He had saved a significant amount of points without even realizing it.

Cracking his knuckles, Fang Bo was eager to get into a physical confrontation with the enemy, but for the sake of the bigger picture, he had to suppress his desire to rush in.

He sealed away his Yin Seal and released the 20 mental points he had stored up.

In the blink of an eye, his condition was fully restored.

Listening to the announcer’s introduction, both teams were already entering their preparation zones.

When Kyo Kusanagi took his seat on the support bench, Team Hungry Wolf’s members couldn’t help but gasp.

This meant the Strongest Fist could be called upon at any time.

No matter who was fighting, facing Kyo Kusanagi meant they would have to be on their guard.

“Damn it.” Looking at the figure in the support area, Andy Bogard felt his anger rise to the point where he almost couldn’t stand.

The murmurs from the audience only fueled his frustration, as he was now being linked with a certain humiliating title.

Because of this, Andy was determined to prove who was the real boyfriend of Mai Shiranui through his strength.

His anger surged, and without waiting for the referee’s signal, Andy rocketed onto the ring like a missile.

The crowd, now even more intrigued, couldn’t help but get excited. Who didn’t love the gossip surrounding martial artists?

“…I could kill him with my own hands.” Geese Howard’s expression darkened. She, too, couldn’t bear to hear the audience’s discussions.

Had she not seen the toxic internet chicken soup earlier, she would have already wiped out everyone in the arena with a single tornado. But now, she could restrain her murderous instincts.

Sometimes, internet chicken soup wasn’t all bad.

“Don’t be so hasty,” Fang Bo said as he stood up from his seat, strolling toward the stands.

As he walked, he casually waved toward Kyo Kusanagi in the support area.

“Please handle the support for me,” he called.

Each support player only had seven seconds of battle time.

Even if Kyo Kusanagi went all out, it was impossible for him to defeat Terry Bogard in seven seconds.

If Fang Bo wanted to complete a three-hit combo, he had to accumulate as many support attacks as possible.

Every time a fight started, it would add +1 to his support attacks. If he didn’t use it, the count would accumulate.

So, he planned to rely on his own abilities in combat, and only call Kyo in for help if it became absolutely necessary.

[Andy Bogard (Master of the Bone Style)]

[Attack Preference: Strong]
[Attribute Preferences: Agility, Spirit, Strength]
[Traits: Qi Gong Eight Sections]

[Threat Level: Slight Pressure]

He was probably a little stronger than Mai Shiranui, and Fang Bo believed he could defeat him without much difficulty.

Stepping onto the ring, Fang Bo pulled out his Wind Shadow Puppet first.

The enemy already knew his abilities, so exposing his tactics now didn’t matter much.

“You’ve finally come up,” Andy said, his fists crackling with anger as his face wore an expression of fury.

Fang Bo remained completely unfazed by this.

Team Hungry Wolf has been chasing him for so long, and today it’s time to settle things.

“Don’t worry, this time I won’t run.”

Golden ripples slowly appeared as the King’s Treasure had already been fully charged and ready for action.

“I declare, the match between Team Hungry Wolf and Ruthless Team officially begins!!!”

With the referee’s command, several golden shooting stars suddenly appeared in the ring.

The Noble Phantasms flew out like sharp arrows, aiming to turn Andy into a porcupine.

“Hmph, petty tricks.” The blonde man took a deep breath, instantly clearing his negative emotions and entering the most combat-ready mental state.

The moment the Noble Phantasms were about to hit, he suddenly leaped into the air, spinning his body twice and a half in a rapid motion.

Killer Move: Rising Dragon Fist!

With his formidable strength attribute, Andy used his raw power to knock all incoming weapons flying.

It was a move that Mai Shiranui could also perform, except she threw a paper fan.

Having sparred often, Andy wasn’t one to be harmed by such trivial tricks. Every fighter on the King of Fighters stage had their own unique skills.

That was certainly true, but he underestimated the effectiveness of the Noble Phantasms.

Unable to break through head-on, they sought to strike from the shadows.

By the time Andy sensed something was wrong, the Shadow Moon Trident had already appeared just behind him.

Using light and shadow to create an invisibility effect, it could always sneak up for a successful surprise attack.

[Your Noble Phantasm dealt 57 damage to Andy]

With the continued increase in his strength attribute, along with the damage boost provided by the King’s Power, even the lowest-damage weapon, the Shadow Moon Trident, could now deal nearly 60 points of damage.

Of course, for a battle-hardened fighter with tough skin and muscle, 60 points of damage wasn’t much.

Didn’t Andy merely hesitate for a split second before charging at him like a madman?

Both palms came together in front of him, and furious energy began to rapidly gather before him.

He was going to use this move to win back his girlfriend’s heart.

Just as he was about to act, a golden figure suddenly descended from above.

Andy looked up in shock and saw a doll holding twin swords landing in front of him.

No matter how exquisite the craftsmanship, the lifeless body immediately signaled that something was off.

It was none other than the Noble Phantasmized Doll: Yuen 01.

Having activated its “Training” mode, it no longer required manual control and could carry out all combat procedures on its own.

Otherwise, Fang Bo would have long since discarded it into storage.

Looking at the suddenly appearing doll, Andy had two choices.

First, he could cancel his long-prepared ultimate move, change his strategy, and prioritize dealing with the doll rushing toward him.

Second, he could ignore the doll’s threat and go all out to deliver a crushing blow to his opponent.

Under the influence of his jealousy-fueled rage, Andy almost immediately made what he considered the most logical decision.

He ignored the Rising Sun Blade and charged straight toward his opponent to defeat them.

So, when the doll’s Solar Eclipse Rainbow swung down, Andy, as his opponent, simply ignored it and charged forward headlong.

[Yuen 01’s Solar Eclipse Rainbow hit, dealing 53+40 slashing damage]

The blood boiling within him only fueled Andy‘s rage further.

But he forgot that there was still a crucial obstacle in his way.

That was the Magnetic Release Sand Iron controlled by the Wind Shadow Puppet.

Fang Bo hadn’t made any breakthroughs in his control skills for a while, but fortunately, his puppet was good enough to mitigate some of his professional disadvantages.

Even if his melee abilities had been explosively enhanced, he wouldn’t let his enemies get close easily.

“Your actions are too reckless.”

Magnetic Release: Sand Iron Bind!

A black barrier unfolded, instantly enveloping most of the arena.

The most important thing was that it separated the two fighters completely. If they didn’t find a way to break the barrier, they couldn’t defeat each other.

“You’re the reckless one,” Andy condensed all his strength into one point and then thrust his palm forward.

In an instant, a golden energy pillar pierced through the Sand Iron Barrier.

MAX Super Move: Flying Meteor Fist!

Not only did it break through the Sand Iron defense, but it also pierced through the figure behind it.

Seeing this, Andy immediately went on the offensive again, not stopping at all, even as his second attack was triggered.

When the golden energy struck again, he realized something was wrong.

Why was there no blood at all from the wound on his opponent?

A moment of hesitation, and the “Fang Bo” before him had already turned into a pile of scattered iron sand on the ground.

This was a basic shadow clone technique from the Naruto World.

A Magnetic Release sand iron clone.

Just as Andy realized he had attacked the wrong target, the golden Kusanagi Sword suddenly pierced through his body.
