RWWOKS Chapter 73

This entry is part 74 of 247 in the series The Reincarnation World Where Only I Know the Storyline

**Chapter 73: The Infinite Train**

[Achievement conditions met: You have earned the title “Spider Pillar”]

**Spider Pillar**: +20% damage against demon-type creatures, summoned creatures gain 10% of the summoner’s health as a bonus.

“Nice!” Fang Bo ignored the strange name, focusing solely on the stats. He was quite satisfied with this title.

As a summoner-type reincarnator, his familiars and puppets technically counted as his own damage output. Not only did this title boost his damage, but his Jorogumo (spider spirit) also received 10% of his life force.

**Familiar Health**: 196/196 (+16)

Seeing the additional bonus, Fang Bo stroked his chin and thought, “16 points is still too little. It’s because I haven’t invested in my constitution stats.”

“Once I finish a few hidden tasks, I can push my perception to the current difficulty’s limit.”

After that, he’d be free to invest in constitution. As his health increased, his summoned creatures would benefit from more health bonuses as well.

“Maybe I should try upgrading the title. Who knows, the bonus percentage might increase,” he mused.

However, the thought of his merit points gave him a headache. Those points were so hard to acquire. Unless he participated in a space war, accumulating them quickly was nothing more than a pipe dream.

After equipping the “Spider Pillar” title, Fang Bo turned his attention to another reward he had chosen.

The epic-level **Crimson Nichirin Blade**!

[Name: Crimson Nichirin Blade

Grade: Epic

Type: Weapon

Attack: 8-10

Durability: 80/80

Attribute Boosts: Strength +2, Agility +2

Requirements: Strength 14

Equip Effect: Demon Slayer

Origin: Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Equipment Rating: No demon can escape its judgment.]

**Demon Slayer (Passive Skill)**: +20% critical damage to demon-type creatures, +100% lethal damage.

Holding the epic-level Nichirin Blade, Fang Bo felt an urge to switch to a melee class. This weapon was practically a bane to demons. Paired with his title, lower-ranked demons could be taken out in a few strikes.

One title combined with a Nichirin Blade—give it to the right person, and their damage output would skyrocket, significantly boosting their strength.

It was clear the rewards from the Blue Spider Lily questline were incredibly generous, even though Fang Bo himself couldn’t use the Nichirin Blade.

Even if he could, his combat skills were lacking; he wouldn’t even match up to an average boxing gym instructor.

His best option was to give this epic-level blade to one of his puppets.

However, his headless puppet couldn’t wield it unless it had a complete arm, and it was impossible to equip items on flesh puppets.

His real hope was to control the “Yoriichi Type Zero” puppet. Mechanical puppets could be equipped with items, and if he wanted, he could even install a Dragoon cannon in its mouth.

Fang Bo took a deep breath. “The Swordsmith Village,” he muttered.

Becoming the tenth Pillar had a significant perk: he could now apply to visit the Swordsmith Village at any time without complicated approval processes.

Though he still had to be blindfolded, his treatment was far better than the regular team members.

However, it wasn’t the time to go yet. He needed to take down an Upper Moon demon first to initiate a meeting with the upper management of Muzan’s organization.

Once Gyokko’s proposal was in motion, it would lead to an Upper Moon demon attack. During that time, Fang Bo could complete a hidden task.

With his plans in place, Fang Bo stored the Nichirin Blade in his space mark and decided to visit the Demon Slayer Corps’ headquarters shop.

As the Spider Pillar, he now had access to many items for purchase, though he wasn’t sure if the prices would be outrageous.

When he found the girl assigned to guide him, her attitude had taken a complete 180. Her sudden enthusiasm made the new Tenth Pillar feel a bit uncomfortable.

Soon, he arrived at the headquarters’ shop, where he was met with a wide array of items—and shockingly steep prices.

– Demon Slayer Uniform (Standard): 400 Story Points

– Demon Slayer Uniform (Pillar): 1000 Story Points

– Nichirin Blade (Fine Quality): 1500 Story Points

– Basic Swordsmanship LV1 Scroll: 150 Story Points

– Basic Melee Upgrade Scroll: 150 Story Points

– Puppet Control Upgrade Scroll: 150 Story Points

– Nagasaki Cake: 500 Story Points

– Demon Repelling Incense: 200 Story Points

– Demon Attracting Incense: 200 Story Points

– Dissolving Potion: 500 Story Points

– Toxic Potion: 500 Story Points

Several of these items piqued his interest.

Especially the skill upgrade scrolls, which had appeared just in time. Without them, he wouldn’t be able to use the Yoriichi Type Zero puppet.

But the prices were absurd—three times higher than those in the regular space. Calling it daylight robbery would be putting it kindly.

Knowing this, Fang Bo still gritted his teeth and made the exchange. If you don’t take risks, you don’t gain rewards. Without the Yoriichi puppet, what would he use to fight in the Infinity Castle?

Indeed, Fang Bo now had plans to completely clear the Demon Slayer world.

Having found the Blue Spider Lily meant that Muzan would undoubtedly take the bait, triggering the Infinity Castle Arc.

In short, the key to everything lay in the Blue Spider Lily, which was why he had become the Demon Slayer Corps’ Tenth Pillar.

If he managed to complete this story world, the rewards he’d receive would be immense.

He spent 900 Story Points to purchase six upgrade scrolls. After using them, his Puppet Control technique leveled up to 8, and with a few quick tests, he found the overall smoothness of his puppet’s movements had increased three- or fourfold.

Even though the puppet’s attributes hadn’t changed, its combat power had risen by a significant margin.

**Story Points remaining**: 1310

Seeing his remaining points, Fang Bo felt like crying. He wanted to exchange for those potions so badly.

Soon, he would face an Upper Moon demon, and having potions would certainly increase his confidence.

But he couldn’t afford to waste any more points, especially since he still needed to reserve some for summoning his familiars.

However, he absolutely had to get the **Nagasaki Cake**. Items that restored mental power weren’t easy to come by.

**Nagasaki Cake**: Restores 50% health, restores 5 mental points.

A top-tier food item, no doubt. Don’t underestimate the 5 mental points—at a critical moment, it could turn the tide of battle.

Forcing himself to ignore the other items, Fang Bo left the shop, panting for breath as he stepped outside to get some fresh air.

As the Demon Slayer Corps’ Tenth Pillar, he couldn’t even afford a captain’s haori, which made him feel rather pitiful.

Due to the appearance of the Blue Spider Lily, the planned Pillar Meeting was canceled. Everything now hinged on acquiring the key item.

This process would take some time, so Fang Bo decided to complete the **Infinite Train** mission in the meantime.

He headed to the Intelligence Storage Center and quickly obtained information on the Infinite Train.

When the new Spider Pillar picked up the intelligence sheet, a soldier hurriedly explained, “Over 40 people have gone missing in a short period on the Infinite Train. The enemy must be incredibly strong.”

“Hmm.” Fang Bo nodded, took the mission sheet, and prepared to leave. At the door, he suddenly paused, “Has the Flame Pillar returned?”

“Yes, he’s reporting to the master right now.”

“I see.”

There was no way Fang Bo, the tenth Pillar in name only, would take on the Infinite Train alone. Otherwise, Akaza might not even bother showing up. He needed someone with strong fighting spirit.

Rengoku Kyojuro, the Flame Pillar, was the perfect choice.

While waiting outside the master’s door, he soon saw a young man with yellow hair approaching. The Rengoku family had always had similar hair, but Kyojuro, the current Flame Pillar, had even thicker black eyebrows and sharp, lively eyes.

“You must be Jason. It’s a pleasure to meet you!” Kyojuro’s voice was loud and full of passion, reflecting his fiery nature and hatred for evil.

Of course, this didn’t mean he was impolite. Due to an earlier mission, his eardrums had been damaged, so he unconsciously spoke louder.

“Hello.”

Fang Bo got straight to the point, explaining the situation clearly. In his account, he mentioned how he had learned about the whereabouts of an Upper Moon during a battle with Lower Moon Five.

“If I’m not mistaken, that demon should be Upper Moon Three. His power is immense.”

Hearing this, Kyojuro understood his intention.

With a firm slap to his chest, the young Flame Pillar shouted, “Leave it to me! I will join you and slay the demon!”

[Trigger hidden mission #14552: **Infinite Train**]

**Mission Brief**: People have gone missing. You need to investigate and uncover the truth aboard the train.

**Mission Objective**: Protect the passengers until dawn.

**Note**: Seeking additional help may alter the mission’s flow!

“Good.” Fang Bo smiled, knowing his judgment had been correct.

The Infinite Train arc could trigger a hidden mission, and so could the Entertainment District and Swordsmith Village arcs.

If he completed them all, Fang Bo’s strength would see significant growth. Perhaps then, he could face an Upper Moon demon in battle.

Reading the mission carefully, he noticed something peculiar.

**Mission Objective**: Protect the passengers until dawn.

The space didn’t require him to kill Akaza—he just had to hold out until sunrise.

Perhaps the correct mission trigger involved reaching the Infinite Train first. The space likely didn’t anticipate that someone would trigger the mission while still at Demon Slayer headquarters.

The key difference here was that he now had the chance to recruit additional help.

That’s why the mission included an extra note. Essentially, it was advising him not to overdo it.

If he called all nine Pillars onto the train, Akaza, being no fool, would never show up. Sure, he’d complete the hidden mission, but the rewards wouldn’t be as high, and there’d be no bonus for killing an Upper Moon demon.

He could find help, but it had to be limited.

In Fang Bo’s understanding, regular team members were fine, but at most, only one other Pillar could be summoned.

With the Pillar Meeting canceled, the other strong fighters hadn’t returned. It seemed his only option was her.

**The Insect Pillar, Kocho Shinobu.**
