MWM Chapter 318

This entry is part 319 of 599 in the series In Marvel: I Start by Marying Scarlett Witch

“Let’s try adding Sage Mode to this!”

Leo combined his Jindan true essence with chakra, activating Sage Mode.

The originally 150-meter-tall orange Susano’o instantly expanded into a massive, 300-meter-tall, three-headed, six-armed Susano’o. The wings on its back disappeared, replaced by a golden cloud under its feet.

“Honestly, this form looks more and more like the Daoist divine manifestations from the old myths!”

Perhaps due to the influence of the Jindan true essence, Leo felt that this three-headed, six-armed Susano’o bore a striking resemblance to the divine figures from the Daoist mythology in his past life.

It reminded him of deities like Nezha, the Three-Altars Sea Society Deity, whose divine form also had three heads and six arms. Some gods even had three heads and eight arms.

But when he thought about it, it made sense.

Even though the worlds and power systems were different, the essence of all power was the same, so it was only natural for them to influence each other.

It was similar to how the Extremis virus from the Marvel world could affect people in this world.

After flying a lap in the three-headed, six-armed Susano’o, Leo dismissed the form, left the drawer space, and released the shadow clone that had been handling his Hokage duties.

“Return countdown, three, two, one.”

As the countdown on the interface ended, the scene shifted, and Leo found himself back aboard the Octopus spaceship in the main Marvel universe.

“I’d better conceal this eye.”

Looking at his reflection in the mirror, Leo noticed the Rinnegan in his left eye and quickly put on a contact lens to cover it.

The Sharingan reverted to a normal eye when not in use, only transforming into the Mangekyō shape when its power was activated. However, the Rinnegan, once awakened, remained in its transformed state and couldn’t return to a normal eye.

Rising from the bed, he walked into the ship’s main control room. There, Wanda, Gamora, and Nebula were chatting while enjoying ice cream.

“So, you’re saying neither of you has ever been in a relationship?” Wanda asked, taking a big spoonful of ice cream, her tone full of curiosity.

Ever since she started dual cultivation with Leo, Wanda no longer worried about gaining weight, indulging in her favorite sweets freely.

“No, I spent most of my life undergoing grueling training, traveling to different planets for reconnaissance and assassination missions to fulfill Thanos’ terrifying plans,” Gamora sighed.

To be honest, she had hoped to have a normal relationship after escaping Thanos, as long as the person wasn’t just some smooth talker.

Nebula, on the other hand, was more straightforward:

“No one would be interested in someone who’s half-machine, and I don’t have any desire for a relationship. My only goal used to be defeating my sister. Now, it’s to one day tear Thanos to pieces.”

“If you want to remove the mechanical parts and restore your body, I can help.”

Leo approached them, offering his help.

With his combination of magic, ninjutsu, and the company’s advanced serums, it wouldn’t be difficult to restore Nebula’s body from its mechanical state.

In the past, he wouldn’t have considered doing this. To him, Nebula was just a useful tool, and her mechanical abilities made her even more valuable. But after spending so much time aboard the ship, Nebula and Gamora had become friends, more or less.

And he was always generous with his friends.

“Yes, Chuan can help you. And once you’re restored, I can even help introduce you to someone,” Wanda said cheerfully, hugging Leo as he arrived, using her magic to conjure up a giant tub of ice cream for him.

Nebula shook her head firmly:

“No need, at least not until Thanos is dead. I prefer being like this right now—it allows me to do things I couldn’t before.”

“Whenever you’re ready, come find me,” Leo replied casually.

The four of them chatted for a while before starting a card game.

Later that night, a loud exclamation rang out from the ship’s master bedroom, reaching Gamora and Nebula in the control room.

“**Partial Multi-Size Jutsu!**”

“It can really get that big?”

Wanda’s amazed voice made the two sisters exchange glances.

“Isn’t it normal for humans to get bigger? I’ve read that some humans on Earth can grow three or four times their size,” Nebula remarked, her eyes flashing with a data scan.

Gamora shrugged:

“Maybe he’s just special. I once went on a mission to a planet called Pegas and their people could grow up to thirty times their size.”

“Earthlings sure seem to enjoy this kind of thing. It wasn’t mentioned in the reports, though,” Nebula mused, tilting her head.

During the nearly month-long voyage on the ship, she had compiled some statistics, noting that Leo and Wanda’s “activities” took up about 80% of their time.

Gamora shrugged again:

“Maybe it’s just the two of them. The other Earthlings back at the base don’t do it nearly as much.”

“True,” Nebula nodded, recalling her observations before refocusing on piloting the ship toward Xandar.

According to Earth’s time, they’d reach Xandar in about 45 hours.

However, only four or five hours later, as they carefully navigated through a dense asteroid field, a fleet of uniquely shaped ships surrounded their Octopus spaceship.

“Uh-oh, Ravagers!”

Recognizing the design of the ships immediately, Gamora’s voice tensed with alarm. The Ravagers were infamous space pirates in the galaxy.

“Our ship has no weapons. We need to alert the boss, quickly.”

In order to boost the Octopus ship’s speed and performance, Leo had requested that it be stripped of any weaponry. As a result, if the Ravagers attacked, they’d be defenseless.

“Got it,” Nebula replied, quickly making her way to Leo and Wanda’s bedroom.

“Boss, we’ve got trouble! Our ship’s been surrounded by Ravager pirates!” Nebula shouted through the door.

“Ravagers?” Leo raised an eyebrow at the news, then paused his cultivation with Wanda and made his way to the control room with her and Nebula.

On the control room screen, a large, red-skinned alien was glaring at them, issuing a threat:

“Listen up! You’re surrounded. Surrender and do not resist, or face certain death!”

As he finished speaking, the ship suddenly lurched. Their Octopus ship was being reeled in toward the largest Ravager vessel by two mechanical claws attached to long chains.

“Perfect,” Leo said with a smirk, “looks like we’re about to make some new funds—and maybe even upgrade to a faster ship.”
