Forcing himself to look away, Fang Bo reminded himself that merit points weren’t the most important thing right now.

In simpler terms, Jorogumo, who had evolved into Oni Mother Yin Hime, could undergo another awakening.

At that point, she would have completed a transformation from SR to SSR to SP Shikigami, truly reaching the peak of the Demon King hierarchy.

Someone like Muzan wouldn’t even be worthy to serve her.

3. Fate Concealment (3 Tokens): Temporarily block fate’s observation.

4. Fate Line (5 Tokens): Find the object most deeply connected to the target.

5. Fate Thief (8 Tokens): Steal a portion of the target’s fate.

6. Fate Exchange (12 Tokens): Swap the fates of two individuals.

With the ability to see through fate, one could toy with it at will.

By using tokens, you could block fate’s observation or even swap the destinies of two story characters.

**If he had used “Fate Exchange,” the one who was devoured by Muzan earlier might have been someone else. Perhaps it would have resulted in Nezuko becoming the Demon King.**

Of course, even if their fates were the same, the outcome could still differ.

For instance, if the Wind Hashira or Flame Hashira had been devoured, they obviously wouldn’t have been able to overcome sunlight, let alone revert to being human. Their only fate would be to disintegrate under the sun’s rays.

In other words, this mission would be the final chapter, and poor Muzan would never again have the chance to become the “perfect” being.
